I know it was one game, and I expected to go to sleep relieved at the win—but Mayfield was so good that I just couldn’t sleep. This guy is the real deal. Nobody goes out there and is that good and it’s a fluke. He and Mahomes are going to light up this league.
(And isn’t it nice to see them and Wentz becoming the next generation of field generals?)
And yes, it was interesting to watch the team the first two quarters, especially the receivers, and think, “How can guys this talented play this badly?” And then Tyrod leaves and Baker comes in and suddenly everything clicks and you say to yourself, “I guess that answers my question.”

LOL. I saw that. Even we Cleveland fans were laughing and saying, “Only in Cleveland!”Looks like the rally possum saved the day for the Browns.

No way Hue can let Taylor be quarterback again. Sucks for him, but here we are."I need to see the film"
If Hue screws this up, he should be booed for the rest of the season if not fired right away.
I'm feeling pretty good right now otherwise, as a huge Cleveland fan. With Baker we looked like a real NFL offense that could actually move the ball. The defense with Garrett and Ward is great, and I legitimately think the Browns aren't a bad bet to win the AFC North with the way the Steelers are stuggling. We just need to sweep the Bengals.
Bills fans: how tf was Tyrod Taylor a pro bowler last year??? Our offense showed flashes of Ohio State vs Rutgers (from the Rutgers point of view of course). He repeatedly underthrew or overthrew wide open relievers and didn't know when to throw the ball away. Jeez, I can't count the times, especially on a running down (first and 10 or second and 5/or less) that he went back to pass, ran backwards a bit, and got sacked. He blew an easy touchdown when he overthrew Callaway (he's so fast, just chuck it to the endzone, damn it) and repeatedly missed wide open receivers for 10-15 yard gains.
Opposite of Baker.
