Interesting to see 512GB storage option. Will the X Plus have any factors other than a bigger screen that set it apart from the others, we need things like multitasking and maybe picture and picture especially for a 6.5” screen.
There shouldn’t be other factors. It’s the same phone. Only the screen size should separate the two.

Trouble is, the 8 Plus could drop to £639 for the 64GB model, so it could be cheaper and offer more like the dual cameras and 3D Touch over the 6.1” model. Only difference could be the design and biometric security, and price.

The iPhone 8 may be the phone to buy this year unless there are significant internal improvements in the new phones.

Surprised Apple couldn't force the proposed price of the X2 lower given that FaceID module manufacturing must be optimised by now and Samsung had a well-documented oversupply of OLED panels this year (hence the value of them decreases). Of course, this could simply be Apple squeezing a bit more margin out of the phones...

Of course it’s margins. At least 38% on the X2 and X2+. I’m estimating around 18-20% on the 6.1.” Then you’ll have the planned “last minute delays” on the 6.1” to drive up orders on the others. It will be a textbook Apple roll out.

The replacement for the X is in a weird spot pricewise. Cheaper than the X I have, but doesn't really offer a compelling reason to upgrade. More than anything, just makes you feel like a bit of a sucker for adopting the new model early.

Who the heck needs 512 gigs of storage in their phone? Like seriously. I’m having issues filling up 60 gigs on my 256 gb phone. And I have plenty of apps photos and my whole music library downloaded.

I think they’ll go with 128/512. We’ve seen that in the past even though it does not make sense at all.

Put a really decent camera in the iPhone X and add two hours of battery life and you have the best release in the last five years. Add split window multitasking to the X Plus and meaningfully push the iPhone forward as a productivity machine. Might happen. I'm not saying it will, I refuse to be bored until the keynote bores me :)
i honestly dont see the hype on split window in such a small device. I rarely use it now on my ipad

That's definitely a huge pen for a phone ;)

I don’t want to use Android, so Note is not an option, therefore I would fancy an iPhone with built-in slot for Apple stylus and it’s support.

But, if guess, we would know by now, there would be such a device, as somebody would dig it out, out of iOS 12 beta, somewhere

So they're going to pull the iPhone 8/8+ as well. Wow. So then the buyer is forced to purchase a device with an ugly notch and no home button. Ridiculous.

Lineup looks good for this year. They need to update the SE or give it the 6.1's treatment then it'll be about as good as it can be.

So they're going to pull the iPhone 8/8+ as well. Wow.....

I'm not seeing where its talking about them pulling the 8 / 8+ at all. Expectations are they'd fall in price by $100 and still be there with the 7 falling to the bottom rung this year.

The Apple Pencil support i can see happening but i also think they will slim down the Apple Pencil, maybe introduce another version for the iPhone? i think for a 6.5" phone/phablet it makes sense. Also if they do introduce Pencil support i'm guessing there will also be some software tweaks and features that we haven't seen yet.

Probably bigger battery, like the previous plus models.

Probably a note 10 style like pen size
