2020 MacBook Air i5 is $749 at Costco

Deal is dead - likely a mistake - unknown if existing orders will be cancelled.
I just dont want a damn Mac mini even to deal with sending back. The new Mac mini is close in price to that, only offered in space grey, and I3/8/256 config... but they dont sell it so that’s hopeful.
if they cant fulfill what was ordered, id prefer a cancellation vs. saving a trip to UPS or wherever and placing an order for random stuff

I suspect that will be the case. No way is Costco going to take about a $500 loss for EACH order.

Sometimes they honor mistakes like this, so the people who got their orders in might get super lucky
I know that CPU is a few generations behind, but the 1.1 GHz Speed represents a 38.9% decrease in speed from the 1.8 GHz speed. So unsure as to how much of a "hit" (if any) that represents. Would like to see some actual tests, although the newer model does have a 512 gig (actually somewhat less, as they always overstate the actual SSD size in laptops).

Really lame. I think I’m gonna see if they can price adjust a back order of the i5/512 otherwise may just cancel with a call back from customer support
no im not planning on talking to them, im waiting on you, that or just gonna see what random item they send me.
I still have hope. The product number is close to the product number of the other MacBook Airs... even though the order says Mac mini... that doesn't refer to any product on the website. Maybe everything is all confused at their warehouse and they ship out the Air. I'm giving it a 10% chance of working...
If they cancel it, oh well. But if they actually send out a mini, I'm going to show the original email of the order and a print out of the confirmation page that says MacBook Air, and ask to get the actual item I ordered.

Yeah, I see that. When you type into the search bar "item 122," only MacBook Air shows up.
I thought about doing that earlier and ask if it’s going to go through as the MacBook Air or if the order will be cancelled. I figured if there is a slim chance it goes through I’ll just let it be. Worst case they cancel my order or I return whatever they send and get my money back.
