2020 Macbook Air order status

Was trading a 11” MBA 2012. I ordered the 2019 MBA on 4/16 before they announced. They automatically switched my order which was awesome. But they were only giving me $100, which was the price difference anyway, so im keeping it!

Ordered my prebuilt i5/8g/512g (trade-in, education price) on 3/18, shipped today, delivery tomorrow. It was listed as "in process" until early this morning.
I ordered Saturday night 3/21 and it is scheduled to arrive tomorrow 3/24. I find that amazing. I am trading in my 2017 MacBook (which was a free replacement for my 2015 MacBook after the third keyboard failed).

Out of an abundance ofcaution paranoia, I got in touch with Apple just to make sure nothing had gone flaky with my order. (Ordered 3/19, delivery date 3/24-3/26, but has never moved off of "Processing.") I was told that I'm still on schedule to receive it in that date range, but "probably closer to Thursday at this point."
And still stuck on "Processing." I've seen cases with Apple where it jumps from Processing to Shipped in an eye blink, then arrives a few hours later, so who knows...?

I was considering doing the exact same thing but I'm glad to hear this. I am in the same boat except I ordered 3/18

Mine arrived yesterday morning (base config.) Really a great price point and laptop. The magic keyboard is really the best part of it.

Ordered today, expected in around 3 weeks. That could be because I ordered a UK keyboard from the Swiss store, but I just did a dummy order on the base model, no changes, and the delivery date was still estimated to be mid April.

Ordered 20/3/20. 16GB/256/i5. Apple has just charged my CC. Original delivery date was 8/4-14/4, might come a bit sooner.
Yes, the i3 is only a dual core, while the i5 is quad. I think the i3 only exists to hit the $1000 price point, but you should avoid it.
