Ordered custom i5 the 7th of May. Shipped the 14th just laying in CH for a while. Arrived in Germany the 20th, arrived in Norway the 22. Now its underway to me and the confirmed delivery date is the 26th. This is going to be the longest weekend ever just waiting for this lovely machine.

Got it today. Super happy heard the fans slightly during setup (downloading and syncing all files) Completely quiet and cold. Absolutely love it.

I had originally ordered the i5/8gb/256 from Apple, it was showing June 4-7th, just placed an order today (26th) from Costco and it will be here tomorrow, $50 more but get the extra year of warranty.

I am still waiting for mine to make it out of processing. If it doesn’t move to “preparing to ship” today, then I am afraid I will not get it until at least Thursday. The estimated date to receive it still says May 27-29, but it won’t come tomorrow. I think I can say that for sure.

We will see if it comes Thursday or Friday, or sometime next week or the week after.

Ordered last Saturday Costco 2020 MBA i7/16/256 $1399 plus Apple Care plus $200, both discounted. Got my UPS tracking scheduled for delivery Thursday. Not bad. 90 day return window.

Today between 8:00 am and 9:00 am the computer part of my order finally moved to “preparing to ship.”

“We’re getting ready to ship your order. We’ll email you the delivery information once it ships.”

It finally shipped today via FedEx, and is supposed to be delivered tomorrow. It was Picked up by FedEx in Middletown, PA.

did you buy it with Costco citi card? If you did it’s actually four years of warranty.

It went from PA to Indianapolis to Romulus, Michigan. It’s supposed to be delivered today. Not out for delivery yet though.

Mine took forever to even ship. It's supposed to be delivered today but tracking still says in transit and has been stuck at the same place for ages. I've got work to get one with, this sucks.

Does anyone know if FedEx tracking will say “out for delivery“ when it’s on the delivery truck? I know when I track UPS deliveries it does. I am asking Because it will be raining on and off here all day, and I don’t want it sitting outside for long.

I ordered on 22nd May and it still shows, we have received your order. Not expected to arrive prior to 17th June. Bit of a bummer as here in the UK, you cannot order a MacBook aIt with 16gb RAM unless it comes Apple. Normally resellers would have them too.

FedEx app must be a little slow to show status. It’s now showing that it was loaded on a delivery truck in Northwood, OH at 8:00 AM this morning:)

I ordered i3/16/256 on the 14th May and it’s currently in South Korea for delivery to the UK on Monday 1st June. Original estimate was 9th June, so assuming UPS don’t screw up they’ve done well.

Mine arrived last night. i5/16/512. Setup was easy...however.. after I did everything, I updated to 10.15.5 and holy $&*?# it downloaded it and the Mac went completely dead for 3-4 minutes...felt like forever. I almost thought I got a lemon. Finally turned on and took 20-30 minutes to get back to the OS. All good now but that was odd.

Wow well I hope you get it by the 1st. My spec is only slightly different. Went for the i5. Feels like I am buying my first mac lol and I should now pile on accessories.

Mine arrived a few hours ago. I have my old computer copying to the new computer. Old computer is a 2011 MacBook. I had no idea it would take hours to do this. I don’t know if it’s slow because my old computer is so old, or if it the Internet connection, or if that is just normal. I have never copied files from one Mac to another before. The computer says it would be faster via Ethernet cable. Unfortunately I did not know it would take so long or I would have ordered an Ethernet adapter with the computer. I advise anyone who is transferring from a really old computer to this new one to get the Ethernet adapter so it doesn’t take hour. It has almost taken four hours so far, and it says it has two hours to go.

Neither computer seems To be getting too warm or have fans going, so it doesn’t seem to stress either one, which is good.

Hi, did you manage to do the transfer etc?

Yes. It just took like 5 or 6 hours. I didn’t get to play with it much yet because of that. Then it had to update itself. It seemed to be a major update because it took it like 40 minutes to install it. But I think it was worth it, as it supposedly fixed the heating/ fan issue that some people have been reporting.
