2020 Macbook Air order status

Anyone that’s got their mac delivered in the Netherlands by DHL? DHL haven’t recieved the package yet, the shipping started on the 11th of may. Apple shows an expected delivery of 22-5

Expected delivery just changed from 22-5 to 18-5. DHL gotta go fast
 
My MBA arrived yesterday! Sorry for not announcing it, I was busy setting it up. It looks great and it is nice and quiet for an i3! :D

It handles:
Xcode - great! (While simulating an app the fans power up but only for a little while)
Garageband - great!
Discord - great!
1080p external display @ 60hz - great!
MS365 - great!
If you are a student who just want a computer for simple tasks, this is the one! Great screen, great sound and the keyboard.. Oh, the keyboard!😍😍😍

Louisville this morning. Didn't take long to make the trek from Alaska to Kentucky. Should be in New Jersey tomorrow or Monday.

Yup, you were correct. It does not work for me, but I think you might have better luck. I think you need to purchase an extra Thunderbolt-3 hub to make it work. I have been talking with Apple Support and nothing has worked. Oh well, I might end up sending the MBA back if it won't be working for me. Great device but I really need to play two roles.
 
My credit card just got charged yesterday. I can't seem to find the order on the app and no e-mail from Apple, hopefully shipping in a day or two and I get some exact delivery date. Ordered i5 16GB/512GB

Mine landed in Louisville with yours. Mine is coming up to Massachusetts and unfortunately UPS has no flights to Boston on Sunday's or Monday's so it looks like it will be Tuesday or Wednesday for me...

do you use Xcode extensively? Or do you also use some other IDE? I ended up settle for an i5 simply because I want to future proof the machine. I figured i3 would probably do just as well in terms of light coding and such, but the idea future proofing got to me. What is your take on that?

At FedEx we're getting a giggle at this picture. Of course we are accused of the same thing with regularity. In some cases it's true. Not all of our drivers are diligent. Some of them outright suck. It only takes a few bad ones to tarnish the whole company.

Wondering if anyone's able to help me guesstimate my delivery time based on your own experiences?

Model: MBA 2020 / i5 / standard config
Ordered: May 13th
Destination: Scotland
Status: Processing

Normally I'd assume that it'd be at least 3 or so weeks from time of ordering, however yesterday the delivery window (which had initially said 2 - 4 June) was updated to 22-27 May? Are Apple's own estimations sometimes a bid mad maybe? Can't see how it'll zap its way from China to rural Scotland in 4 days 😂

I ordered mine on May 7th, delivery expected May 21st.
The delivery window is the 21st to 29th, but it's already in Kentucky since yesterday. I think the 21st is reasonable for delivery. Maybe the 22nd if there are any delays due to this Wuhan virus mishigas.

I think the standard configuration dates have gotten better. So the new dates you have probably reflect that - they must have caught up with production! Hopefully you'll have it soon! I'd believe the new dates you have now.
 
i have received my MacBook Air this afternoon! first impression: I love it! the typing experience is great and I have heard the fan only once whilst installing microsoft teams. It's really worth the wait! stay safe

Payment taken and order moved to 'preparing to ship' last night so you may be right! 😃
 
Going crazy here checking my order page. Ordered an i5 16GB 1TB MBA on Tuesday last week. Then caved and ordered my husband a base level MBP with 16GB the day after. His shipped two days ago but mine is still processing. He's not getting his till mine comes though!
 
SON OF A BIT CH!!! UPS pulled into my driveway, the driver rummaged around in the back of the truck, and HE LEFT!! No package!! I feel like one of the Whos down in Whoville. I've been Grinch-ed.

Package still shows "Out for Delivery" on the UPS tracking website. There is a ray of hope yet, but it's fading. I work at FedEx so I have some idea of why a driver pulls in and out without delivering. Several possibilities:

1. Package not on truck. It was scanned to the truck this morning but could have been left behind on the loading dock. Truck overloaded, simple mistake, both happen.

2. Driver has the package but it's damaged. Could just be the outer box looking too ratty and warranting inspection. This inspection is handled at the facility by a QA person. I do this (among a dozen other things) at FedEx.

3. Driver's GPS says my address is not the one on the label. This seems to be a pattern with our house and UPS. Many of our packages end up left up the street at another house. This seems the least likely possibility because the tracking site still says OFD, not delivered.

None of these possibilities are making me happy. Bottom line: UPS came and went. No MacBook Air. ¡Hijo de la Chingada!
