Mine was shipped on Tuesday. I was originally scheduled for delivery on June 4th, so I was kind of surprised to see it ship already and according to UPS it should have arrived to me yesterday on May 29th. I got very excited for a short period of time!

Now it’s been stuck in Shanghai since Wednesday morning with no movement what so ever and UPS can’t give an estimate on their tracking site. Hopefully I’ll get my laptop next week!
Things have been moving quickly in the past few days and I would actually have received my laptop by now. Apparently UPS didn’t think I was home, though. Personally, I disagree. Anyway, no biggie and I assume I can pick it up from an access point tonight.

MBP 13 10th Generation
i7/32/1TB Silver
Order date: May 27th
Estimated delivery: June 25th (was June 18-25th at first but it switched to just June 25th now)
Country: Hungary
Current Status: Processing

Back to square one, but for a good reason: I was able to re-order it with an acquaintance's employee discount (-15%) and canceled my existing order.

And so the long wait begins once again.

Card just got charged! Still "Processing" tho.

Picked up my package this afternoon, but I sadly got a computer with a bulge in the bottom case. On the phone with Apple, who will send me a new, so I guess I’m back to waiting.

The highs and lows of waiting.

10th gen i7/32/1TB space grey ordered May 12th, due for delivery June 1st, but looks like something has gone amiss with UPS.

UPS shows it as "delivered" on June 1st, but to a different address (not even same town) and name. Apple investigation open:(, but UPS have 48 hrs to deliver or respond to Apple. Back to waiting...

Same happened to me. The bottom panel wasn't fully secured and one edge was ajar. It popped back in, but I decided to exchange it anyway. I considered opening it up to make sure the batteries weren't swollen (likely not, since the panel seated fully flat after popping back in) but I didn't want to risk Apple saying any damage was my fault.

MBP 13" 17/32/1TB SG. Ordered 5/24

Card charged and now shipped. Apple delivery date: 6/11. UPS date: 6/9.

BUT I just noticed when I checked UPS tracking that Louisville, KY distribution center is down. Some sort of system outage. Figures..

I will be thrilled if it at least gets to me by 6/10 - ii's my birthday! 😁

I am hoping all will be good - no bulging case, no parts needing to be popped back on.... I returned an i7/16GB/512 model that worked perfectly. I decided I needed the more beefy model because I edit a lot of video, work with photos etc. Trying to future proof a bit.

I bought the exact same MBP as you--same specs/color. I had ordered a dif one on May 26 but canceled and ordered the new one the evening of May 28. I have looked a million times to see if I have been charged but I haven't yet. Can you tell me when you noticed your had been charged? What time did they charge it and how long before the status changed to shipping? My delivery date says June 12-18. I am in Massachusetts.

My card was charged Monday, June 1st. I got an email from Apple on Wednesday saying it was shipped with a delivery date of June 11th according to Apple and UPS shows June 9th. Original date for delivery was June 12-18 like yours.

I am in the US in Ohio

Good luck!

Update: UPS think they have found my MBP. They delivered it to Amazon of all places (a fulfilment centre). It is sitting in a trailer full of parcels of Amazon stock . So, they need Amazon to unload the trailer and find my parcel, send it back to UPS who will return it to a UPS distribution hub for delivery to me. This could take up to 28 days!

At this point, I may be better asking Apple to ship out a replacement, which could be faster. Apple did say a replacement would "jump the queue" of other BTO machines (i.e. they'd build it faster), but it would still need to be shipped from China.

I understand these are difficult times, but this is pretty incompetent from UPS - delivering my MBP to the black hole of an Amazon warehouse.

Sorry, rant over :)

Excellent. There is a possibility that I am charged tomorrow then! Then maybe an email with shipping info over the weekend. Thanks for the info. Let me know when you get it and if you love it!

You are more than entitled to rant! I would be livid. So sorry this happened to you and I hope Apple makes it right.

Thank you. I do feel better having got it off my chest. Comments like yours reassure me that I'm right to be a bit peeved by all this.

One thing I've been wondering about (and perhaps someone here may have experience of) is the duration of AppleCare+ that I have on the MBP. It started on May 29th, when the machine shipped so expires May 29, 2023. Given that I may not see my machine until the end of June, I feel like the least Apple could do is extend the coverage to take account of the "lost" days while UPS try to sort their act out.

Has anyone successfully had their AppleCare+ extended in the case of a seriously delayed shipment?
