Same in Italy... it’s a bit ridiculous that the US orders have been shipped 3 days ago while nobody in the EU has been charged yet... I mean they are shipping both from China so why differentiate... I doubt it is the keyboard layout as 8th gen ones are shipping...

Europe is Apple's neglected child. I'm living in Europe at the moment, ordered mine on May 5 and it was still processing. i5 10th/16GB/1TB with US keyboard (default spec). My order was practically identical with many other US orders. The only differences were the power plug — and the shipping destination.
I ordered World Travel Adapter Kit with the MBP and it literally arrived 2 days later via UPS. So I knew for sure that UPS was still delivering packages in my neighbourhood.

Can you please try Cinebench R20? It's a much more sustained test than Geekbench and should start to separate the laptops that have to throttle earlier vs. the others that can take a more sustained load. The 2020 i7 MBA that I returned had much higher geekbench scores than my 2012 MBP 15 i7, but when it came to Cinebench and Lightroom they were evenly matched. That's why Geekbench tends to favor "bursty" loads rather than sustained ones.

My (old) Air came a day before the earliest Apple estimate - I'd love it if my new Pro did the same.

I ordered the same config in Silver on May 7th. Estimate date is May 26-28. I hope mine moves up like yours did.
Right in the ”ships in 3-5 days” estimate. Hopefully it delivers a bit quicker than the 19-21 estimate!

So no BTO i7 movement, except the early orders for the i7/32/2TB? No other i7 movement?
