I think BOT is just cursed with bad luck (can you be cursed with anything else but "bad luck"?).

It seems like BOT has as many poles, if not more than, HAM. It just when it comes to Sunday, something bad always happens to him. Like that botched pitstop with the stuck CL. Can't make crap like that up.
What is it they say? The more skilled I become, the luckier I get.
Bottas and Lewis are not in the same class.

Yeah, but I think it was much much more than just £40k, as the Richard Mille he was wearing was a special Mclaren edition.

In fact, I don't think RM even makes a watch that retails for anything under £200k.

I didn’t know what watch it was but now I know the brand I quite agree. Quite funny to see the reactions from people who think he bought the watch and not realising drivers are given these as marketing investments too.

Indeed, no watch dealer in the world would pay money for a watch as hot as that. It’s practically worthless unless it’s with the registered owner.
I think you’d be very surprised what the black market will bring for stolen goods. In fact, there’s a whole segment of the market just for stolen goods like this, especially from celebrities.

Besides the fact that it is ugly?

Steve Matchett said it looked like it melted n the oven, lol.

Finally a race weekend I can watch live! Will see if the sprint race makes things better or worse? Who knows. Either way I can’t see the result going anywhere but with Max. But hopefully it will be close.

Agree on George. Norris struggling a bit though. Thought he’d be front or second row.
Forget about VER, forget about HAM, RUS is the driver with the most talent out there.

Williams has no business hanging out in Q3. RUS got that car up there twice now.

RBR probably wants RUS badly, but that would piss off VER, as it would threatened VER's #1 status there.

Mercedes needs to sign RUS for sure. HAM won't be around forever, this is the twilight of his career already, and RUS would be the perfect protege to learn race craft under HAM. It'll set up Mercedes for the next decade.

Almost skipped watching since I knew the results from this thread (my fault for not paying attention that F1 was doing a new thing this GP), but glad I did as RUS and HAM Q3 runs were so impressive.
