Verstappen’s fault that one. Vettel did the same thing to Hamilton some years ago but only had a puncture. I wasn’t sure until I saw the replay but a racing incident.

Agreed a Racing Incident.
Looks like Max's suspension broke on the hit.
They can fix Lewis under the Red Flag, so he can re-start with a fresh car.
So looks like the race is over at Lap 1 (can't see Lewis not winning, now, unless the Stewards decide to screw him over and Horner is pushing for just that).

I’d class it as a racing incident. It was great racing for the first lap. If only the rest of the race was like that.
I think the mutual respect might be a little less respectful going forward!
Commentators reckon Hamilton was at fault and will get a penalty? Not sure I agree with that when comparing to similar incidents. Verstappen turned across in my view and it’s one of those things. Neither driver intended to cause contact and both were aggressive.

Well watching Karun do his video analysis, Max and Lewis did give each other room, but both expected the other to back off so Max made a "normal turn" for the corner and did not expect Lewis to be there.
If I was a steward, I'd still say "Racing Incident".
RBR is really fighting for a penalty and AMG fighting just as hard to deflect one.

They will be because the lead will be done to just 8 points if Lewis goes on to win this. Horner doing his usual condemnation when we all know he’d be saying the opposite of the roles were reversed. Then again they can all be like that.
Still see it as just an accident and the consequence of two drivers pushing the limit.
Why were Mercedes putting duct tape on Lewis' front wing after the incident, as surely they'd just change it?
I know I’m a Lewis fan so accept I’m biased, but a Lewis win and a dnf for Max, sets the rest of the season up nicely. No one wants any driver running away from it.
If this is not a racing incident then nothing is. Both could have done more to prevent it. 50/50 on this one.

I’m going with racing incident… although I’d love for Lewis to get a pen though … just to make him work a little harder for the eventual win.
Actually with one of the top 10 out, that helps Russell to get points and a podium for Norris maybe?

Toto and Christian both have a very biased opinion. Personally hope it goes down as a racing incident.
Yeah I think that’s fair. This is motor racing and drivers go for gaps that exist. Just remembered that Webber and Coulthard work for Red Bull so are trying to be supportive of Max here on our screens lol.
I hope this race isn’t decided this evening rather than on track. It would certainly make this championships the most interesting in years!!
I think the stewards have been poor this year so not surprised at that.
