Lewis is on hard tyres so tactics will be playing a part here. Sergio just pulled off a stunning move! He is in the game still. Bottas slowly moving up the grid. But I expect Max to be leading in 5 laps as Dani Rick can't go any faster.

Wonderful result for Ricciardo and McLaren. So great to see this result today!

Gutted for Lando but happy for him at the same time. His performance this year has deserved a win as he’s overshadowed his teammate all season. He must be frustrated even if both were there by fortunate events.
That incident between Lewis and Max is just bizarre. Max reminds me of Maldonado when he did the same thing to Lewis rather than tuck in behind when he knew he’d been beaten. This kid seems to ooze maturity at some races but then it’s absent at others, totally bizarre. Glad the halo did its job though and a frustrating day for both of them. It does keep the title fight alive though and meant the fans saw some decent racing once the dominant cars were out. Perez and Bottas showed why Max and Lewis are leading their teams I think.

A racing incident for me. Lewis lost out on the first lap, Max would have lost out if his car didn't end up in the air. But both teams will be blaming each other and the childish "fans" on social media will be at it.

It’s up to you. I can’t see how that incident can be viewed as anything other than Max’s fault. At Silverstone the argument from Horner and all the Red Bull fans talked about Max being ahead. This time Lewis is ahead and Max is off the track bouncing over the curbs. He should have conceded at turn 1 and lined himself up for the run into Variante della Roggia. Seemed desperate and rather avoidable.
We’ll surely get some more angles, analysis and maybe even penalty’s (hopefully not). My understanding is if you both turn into a corner you have to leave some space. But they’re both not going to easily do that, that much is clear.
Oh dear, just saw the inevitable happen between Max and Lewis.. oh dear.. hmm they just decided to battle against each other in the tightest spot they could find.
I gotta say though, I don't like those 'speed bump' like things on the track as they seem to help to bounce Max's car up from what I could see?

Lewis's fault I'm afraid, he didn't leave a cars width as per the regs. I was shouting Max you idiot what did you do, then saw the reply from multiple angles and listened to the Sky ex F1 drivers blaming Lewis. And it's clear to see Lewis was out of position compared to the McLaren in front and squeezing Max off the track. Max has done the same thing a few times before.
But they have those stupid bump things on the track that seem to bounce the cars up.. I think without those they would have been fine.
They are called sausage kerbs and bouncing cars is all they seem to do. Stupid if you ask me.
BUT Max squeezed Lewis just the same on the first lap.
Anyway don't care as McLaren are on for a stormer!!! And without those two hotheads in it we get some proper racing!

Right, I've looked at it more and thought about it. I personally think, as I always do, it was Lewis's corner as his nose was in front. Max was seeing red cause if his awful pit stop. But Max is in the right to send one up the inside, weather it works or not is another thing. It was Lewis's corner though yet that doesn't give drivers the option to squeeze others off the track.
Max really should have be patient. But that stupid sausage kerb caused it because Lewis did squeeze Max too much, at that corner because of those kerbs.
I think it's disgusting that Toto and Damon implied Max took Lewis out on purpose.
So for me if I was a steward o would perhaps put more blame on Max, BUT, I couldn't ignore the fact the kerbs played a role in causing the actual collision.
I think they need to rethink that corner and the safety aspects of it.
The entire weight of Max's car was on the front half of his wing and it didn't break, or the nose!! Ridiculously strong material carbon fibre.

I agree with Sergio getting a penalty for stupidity, and Bottas well he just isn't as quick. I rate Lando and Dani Rick higher then Bottas.
I'd rather see Ferrari and McLaren battle then RB and Mercedes, sometimes they are the better drivers and give more exciting racing.
Disappointing hearing Toto, Damon Hill & Johnny Herbert suggesting Max might have deliberately took Lewis out.
Yes I think Toto and Damon should be extremely considerate with their 'accusations' of cheating.

I haven’t seen that but I agree, that’s a stupid suggestion. I can’t stand Herbert to be honest and surprised to hear that Hill would say something so stupid. One of the many reasons I don’t watch Sky F1!
I was disappointed to see Max walk away without checking Lewis was ok as the Red Bull sat on top of the halo. Obviously very frustrated, unless he was advised over the radio Lewis was ok? I know when Max had his huge accident at Silverstone, Lewis asked before the end of the lap if he was ok.
I’d like to see McLaren back at the front again after today. Too big a team to be fighting for 5th place.
