I think that the physical demands of racing these 'cars' is far beyond what any of us can fully appreciate. The acceleration, deceleration, cornering g-loads are incredible. The in-car cameras are now finally giving us a small glimpse of what it's like, but that's just the tip of the iceberg, I think.Wow Perez had no water to drink from lap 2! Poor fella that must have been hell in that heat. And he still brought it home to a third place.
Don't you think that Red Bull had the better pit stop and tire management strategy? Lew was in the lead at the beginning, had the better start, but Max overcame after the pit stops.
The broadcasters tried to suggest more drama for the final laps but really Lewis couldn't get close enough to Max.

No, I think Red Bull should have left Max and Sergio out 2-3 more laps.
Lewis had fresher tires the last lap. I just don’t think he had what it took today. I think he laid back a lap too long recharging for a last lap push and didn’t have it in him. He‘s not getting any younger.
Max demonstrated his tire management skills today. Lewis simply couldn’t get the job done. Mercedes gave him all the tools.
Class act by RBR to put Asaki on stage with Max again on the Podium.
the RA621H is a masterpiece. ?
Speaking of physical demands. Saw a bit of MotoGP today. Interesting that they have lean angles superimposed with a line when showing the drivers from the inbike camera. I can't believe that these guys are leaning close to 60 degrees!I think that the physical demands of racing these 'cars' is far beyond what any of us can fully appreciate. lolI’ll confess I missed a bit in the middle there. It’s pretty late here so I dozed off. The last few laps were good, but Lewis wasn’t really that close to making a move.
Races of late have become more strategy dependent than on track racing yes. Is always more exciting when more than one stop is needed. Was thinking the other day how about a new rule that each driver always had to use all three (dry) tyre compounds per race. Would certainly spice things up.
