Here's my prediction - the Vikings are going to utterly destroy the Patriots. Saying that the Pats have an anemic offensive is being overly generous. And Minnesota is I'm sure royally pissed off that they got embarrassed by the cowboys. They'll be loaded for bear come tomorrow.

That might happen. But the Patriots won against the Jets, and held them to only 3 pts. The Pats defense is not bad. If the defense show up and play well, even the poor offense has a chance to win. Which is why I thought it might be an interesting game.

Yes, but the patriots offense is horrible, so its quite possible that early on the patriots hold off the vikings, but if they keep doing 3 and outs, their defense will get fatigued and eventually the vikings will break on through.

Like I said, my prediction is that that it will be a one sided game

If that happens, talk about a roller coaster ride for the Vikings and their fans. High... Extreme low... High

Ha... I mean who would have picked the Vikings of all teams to be at the top of their division with the next team being Detroit!!! o_Oo_Oo_O
No, I wouldn't have, but I do think they're playing beyond their talent level and its quite possible that they're crashing to earth. I still think they'll crush the patriots, and if they don't then you can expect panic to ensue in Minnesota

I mean the last time I said Detroit in reference to being high up in their division, Barry Sanders was their running back!
If they don't win against New England... oh boy! My sister is a huge Vikings fan and needless to say, being a Dallas fan, I didn't let you live last week down. :)

Exactly! Same thing happened with the NFC West, where I believe the Rams were picked to be #1. But they are 3-7, and this Sunday they play the Chiefs in KC.

With the way the Chiefs are playing and the current shape of the Rams... Doesn't look good for the Rams.
Could not agree more. And unless something "bad" happens with the Chiefs, that is why I stated above that the Seahawks game at KC on Christmas Eve will, most likely, result in another victory for the Chiefs.

Jets bench Zach Wilson for...Mike White?

Jets have a good chance of making the playoffs. So they don't have to "see what you got." Play Flacco. He's the best guy they got.

Jets play in Seattle on Sunday, January 1 (New Years Day!). Seahawks will win that one.

I took the benching more of a punishment in how Wilson played and accounted for his play, i.e., blaming others for the Jets lack of offense.

I'm sure there's plenty of blame to go around, but he's the leader of the team, and he gets a lot of the credit when they win, he can't shirk the negative side, when they lose.

He's the #2 overall draft pick in 2021, they're not ready to move on from him yet imo

Zach had a terrible game last week, and then was totally oblivious to that during the post game interview.

Pretty close in the end. The Pats lost, but it was only one touchdown in it.

First off, (with a narration by his son), a really well-put tribute to John Madden after the Cowboys game, showing his back history and the ’Turducken’.

So for the trifecta of games on T-Day:

Lions/Bills

Actually, this was probably the best game of all three on Sunday. And I don’t know how Detroit manages to always seemingly upset some of the most successful teams in the NFL, but then they are their own worst enemy in the last three minutes in the fourth quarter in like 90% of their games this season. But still, they’re not out of the playoff wildcard race just yet.

I do see the Bills making the playoffs, obviously, but I don’t see them getting very far, because they seem to struggle under pressure, but somehow manage to pull it off in the end under Allen.

Cowboys/N.Y.

Another great game. Cowboys have cohesively been playing really well, (other than the G.B. Loss) If they can stay consistent for their last five games, they could easily be the divisional leader. Another key for Dallas, is they just have a slew of really talented tight ends.

Patriots/Vikings

I imagine Bill Belichick was punching the air again after this loss. Enough said about that. However, the Vikings surprisingly are more explosive than most of the teams I’ve watched this season, but they also have one of the toughest (Loudest) arenas to play at in U.S. Bank. I think the Vikings are the one more dangerous teams in the NFL currently, but traditionally they falter in that first week of the playoffs.

People make fun of kickers, but if you are a good team, your kicker is one of the most important players.
Indeed and they're not paid enough. Many kickers are fired over missing a few FGs and yet they're the heroes when they make that final goal deciding the game.

However, when it comes to the Vikings, this always comes to mind:
They got a few things wrong though, it was the 1998 CG, played in early 1999 and they didn't play the Seahawks. But I just can't get that scene out of my head whenever the Vikings miss a FG.
