omg, I know. I need to watch some football shows, to hear what others are saying.

Then there's Mike McCarthy, going for it on fourth in one in OT. I have to believe that rates up there in bone headed plays

It seems when a brilliant coordinator becomes a head coach, they suddenly become stupid. Or arrogant.

Well, I certainly didn't have the Commanders beating the Eagles (at home) on my 2022 NFL Bingo card.
I don't think anyone did. I don't know about the Eagles playing sloppy as much as Washington showing up and wanting to compete.

They should have snapped that ball straight out the back of the end zone, taken the free kick and tried to play some defense.
I was wondering about an intentional safety before they tried to run a play. Afterwards, the obvious call was to put all receivers on the wide side as blockers and have the QB run parallel to the end line as long as he could before stepping out. That would've used a few seconds on the clock.

I am happy to see the Eagles finally lose one! Glad to see that team from Washington be the ones to do it... Now that that everyone knows they can be beat, I wonder how many more games they will lose. Hopefully a lot! LOL

Yeah, I was getting sick of hearing about the Eagles.

The Commanders are now 5-5, same record as the Bucs. Who would’ve thought that?
For both teams, true.

The Bucs aren't very good, but are in a week division, and Washington is better then what people were expecting but their division is a lot more competitive then it has been in recent history.

Spot on. The Bucs may make the postseason because of that.

I have to say, some of the other teams with good records like the Giants, the Eagles and the Dolphins don’t feel like complete teams. They’re allaround decent, but they don’t have a great defense and a great offense. The only team that I think has looked awesome this year in all departments has been the Chiefs.

But it seems that even awesome teams lose one game in three to quality opposition and so I expect the postseason to be a bit of a crapshoot. No telling who will walk away with the top prize right now.

I haven't followed the Eagles, so other then their record, I'm unaware of their team. As for Giants, I get the feeling they're playing beyond themselves. Not a bad thing, but their team isn't as good as their record if that makes sense. In other words, I do expect them to fall back to earth.

As for the dolphins, they're playing really well, and their record is what is, thanks to Tua. With him, they win, without him they lose. The issue is that he's made of tissue paper and one hard hit will send to the Injured Reserve.

I watched the Packers versus Titans on Prime. Zero issues with streaming quality.

Game after-thoughts:

The Titans just simply outplayed Green Bay in every category almost. The Packers were solid at holding back Henry from gaining too much yardage, even after he had over 22 carries. The Packers secondary defense is absolutely atrocious and mismatched, and allowed for Ryan Tannehill to pass for over 300 yards, which is totally unacceptable from any defensive standpoint.

I don’t know what surprises me more, the fact that the Packers haven’t fired their defensive coordinator, Joe Barry, who basically crippled this team with shoddy play calling, (other than the receivers not meshing with Aaron Rodgers, who has bad throws) or how appalling the Packer fans that boo their own team when they’re down or making inefficient plays. Like, what kind of camaraderie is that?

It got better in the second half. I have gigabit fiber, and I was cranking 800mbits, but it still looked like crap. The weird thing was, during that first half, the shots in the studio and of Al and Herb looked fine. But when they went to the field, back to crap.

The Packers just suck this year and Rodgers is inconsistent. Many bad throws.

On a side note, Cleveland-Bills moved to Detroit. Sure Bufalo, don't build a dome, who needs one, right? Just use Detroit's. /smh

Well, I sit here with a travel ban due to the snow.

Rodgers' injured thumb is affecting his throws. He misses guys who are wide open. I guess LaFleur figures an 85% Aaron Rodgers is better than a 99% Jordan Love. But most fans boo their teams for bad play, especially if the team has had recent success, but now they suck.

Jets v Patriots.
If the patriots lose, the local fanbase will be angry, if the patriots win, the local fanbase will be angry, because it won't be a blow out, and Matt Patricia calling plays is horrible. So either way its not going to be a fun game.

Regardless of how you feel about him as a HC, McDaniels was a great OC and he was setting Mac up for success. All that went out the window the moment he left and Belichick decided not to hire anyone who had OC experience.

As a RAIDER I find this hilarious...

KC-Chargers: the prevent defense once again prevents a team from winning. But the refs helped out on that last TD drive, with that missed offensive pass interference and bogus holding call.

It’s been circulating that Rogers thumb is much worse than what he obviously is not allowing the media to know, which allegedly is broken. If that’s the case, then that explains his poor, inconsistent throwing. However, in a post interview game after the Titans loss, he openly said that “Fundamentally he’s in a good place, but can’t get a good grip on the football”, which it’s like he’s deflecting on purpose for the sake of being obtuse. Like, why don’t you just come out and say you have a moderate-to severe injury.

At what point does the Packers make a change at the quarterback to give Jordan Love an opportunity if Aaron Rodgers continues to play inconsistent and contributing to the Packers losing. If the Packers do not make the playoff schedule, there’s no reason Jordan love can’t have some play time to get some experience, and show the Packers what his talents of being the future.

Secondly, I like Matt LaFleur as a person, I really do. But as a coach under pressure, he’s an emotional wreck, and is making a lot of bad decisions with plays, and is allowing their defensive coordinator to also make bad decisions, who should be terminated. I know this is Lefleurs first losing season, but I’ve never seen a head coach so distraught as much as he is, and he kind of needs to get a grip on his emotional well-being, and his team to take action where he needs to.
