Actually, I have a solution for TNF:

1) Only play them in weeks 6-13 (8 weeks)
2) Play double headers - East Coast teams at 7:30, West Coast teams at 10:30
3) Only divisional games - negotiable
4) Played as part of a Bye. For example, 4 teams on a Bye Week 5 get Sunday off, but they all play Thursday, then not again until the next Sunday. Eliminates the playing 4 days after a Sunday game.

Still don't know why, after that epic playoff game, the NFL didn't schedule the Buffalo/KC rematch on prime time. I mean, Washington/Chicago got the Thursday Night game?

Chiefs - Bills was a really good game, but ultimately decided by refs. Some BS calls, some things not called (including that tripping). They really need to get their act together as this year is really bad. What we've seen so far this year reminds me of Saints pass interference in the playoffs a few years ago. Maybe it's time to allow flags from video refs or allow video refs to overrule calls made on the field. Same thing happened when Tua came back to the game with a concussion, but that was a bad call by the med who cleared him. With so much money in the league, they should be able to work these things out.

Regarding refs...the truth is, they are no different than players. Sometimes they are great and sometimes they mess up. I think it's unfair to expect 100 percent perfection. I think, overall, they actually do a decent job.

Looking at the highlights the Bills v Chiefs game seemed to come down to just a few well-timed turnovers, rather than refereeing calls. Seemed a well balanced game to me, with important contributions on offense by Smith-Schuster (massive yards after the catch on a couple of occasions), Kelce and Diggs. Good game to watch.

The Vikings v Dolphins game was interesting, the Dolphins seemed like the better team in the first half but couldn’t score. They’re not the same team without Tua, even though Hill, Waddle and Mostert have some talent on offense. Vikings are not a bad team but 5-1 flatters them.

PHI by 10...

Jets/Packers boring and inept ...

Good call, Phils by 9 in the end. They seemed a decent team with some explosiveness on offense, but the Cowboys didn’t look like a 4-1 team. Surprisingly they were still able to mount a second half comeback from being 20-0 down at the half. Don’t think either of these teams will be stopping the Bills or the Chiefs.

Saw the Patriots comprehensively beating the Browns. The Patriots looked a step up from a lot of the other second-string teams I’ve seen, and the offense even with Zappe rather than Mac Jones seemed pretty competent. Good contributions by a lot of people.

Mahomes threw 2 bad interceptions that cost them the game.

The Bills had their own miscues. Like a literal replay of the game tying FG in the playoffs, except 12 seconds left instead of 13. I still don't understand these zone prevents that give up wide chunks of yardage. And Kelce killed them (as usual). Plus, that weird fumble in the red zone.

Maybe I'm old, but Thursday Night Football should only be Thanksgiving Day only. And have teams rotate instead of every frakking Thanksgiving it's Cowboys. Ugh. Can't stand that other Texas team.😛

I would watch football seven days a week.
