I tend to agree with you, it was unexpected. I was thinking the 49ers would win comfortably. If the Ravens pass defence can put up that kind of numbers, then I think they’ll do very wel against for example the Chiefs in the playoffs. Week 17 the Ravens play the Dolphins, another quality offense that should be an interesting marker for the playoffs.

I doubt if they'll go back to that. One of the more famous penalties accessed for pushing a player across the goal line was against the Bears. William "The Refrigerator" Perry literally lifted Walter Payton and kind of tossed him across the bodies piled up at the goal line.

I'm wondering how a player would position himself to pull a teammate forward. That's not a naturally occurring thing, especially in a 4th and 1 situation or at the goal line. It seems kind of pointless to ban a play that's rarely going to happen.

I have seen it, but it's not a common play. Has to be set up just right for it to happen.

I'm just waiting for a team to lose both QB's and start tush pushing all the way down the filed. 3 yards and cloud of dust. :)

Ha... maybe the 49'ers should have done that last season when the lost all of their QB's in the game. Taking us back to the times before the pass!

The Bills have done it a few times, though not a QB sneak. They don't do that too often. But a couple of times, Josh, in San Diego I think it was most recently, he was stopped at the 5. Then a bunch of guys literally pushed the pile over the goal line. It shouldn't be allowed. Forward progress should be called right away.

This is football, not rugby.

Ugh! Lost my fantasy football playoff semi-final by 8 points. Deebo Smual killed me, Just one TD and I would've won. But SF laid an egg last night.

Yeah I think the writing was on the wall from the beginning on that one.... Based on some of the comments Sean Payton made in the off-season, it was obvious that Wilson was not his guy long term.
 
Given some of the things you have heard coming out of Seattle after he was traded and some of the things coming out of Denver, this is probably for the best.

Still can't believe they are going to eat that much salary as he will have little to no trade value.

He has trade value, but the Broncos will have to pick up a good portion of that salary.
 
I'm sure a lot of star QB's get special treatment... By nature the QB position is elevated above all the other players.

Yes, they can be diva's for sure. But I almost guarantee CMC has Purdy's phone number, CeeDee has Dak's etc. None of this going through a representative.
