Wouldn't be too sure about the Ravens. Looked like that back in 2019 (?) and they got kicked out by the Titans back then. Bills, Dolphins, Browns and not to forget the Chiefs have a word in that. I wouldn't write off the Chiefs yet, if they can get their act together, they can still win the SB. People always underestimated NE and Brady and the Chiefs have shown they can play just like that.

Miami just didn't show up today, they would have lost against many other teams. The Cardinals managed to beat the Eagles today too.

That was when Lamar was a one-trick pony and had no receivers. Now, his passing game is becoming elite and he's got guys to throw to now.

Have to say, the Ravens looked very good today. Questions about how they would do against better teams have been well and truly answered, on this form they could beat any team in the league.

But oh dear, the Bills are the beneficiaries of Bailey Zappe’s four first-quarter interceptions and they win by a meagre 6 points? Can’t see them going far against better quality teams.

And the Cardinals winning against the Eagles. Little short of a miracle, that one.

It looks like only two meaningful games in the final week: Bills vs Fins (winner wins division) and Texans vs Colts (winner earns a playoff spot). Texans vs Colts could be for the division, but I don't see the Jags losing.

Before last week's game, it was said that Miami had yet to beat a team with a winning record all season.

Chargers (+2), Pats (+7), Broncos (+50), Giants (+15), Panthers (+21), Pats (+14), Raiders (+7), Jets (+21), Commanders (+30), Jets (+30), Cowboys (+2).

Sure, they can score, sometimes quite impressively, but their 11 wins includes doubles against the Pats and Jets, plus the Panthers. If you look at their record, their single good one was against the Cowboys.

Granted, that's only one angle, and there's no "quality win" metric in the NFL, but if the Ravens keep playing like they do, it probably won't matter in the AFC.

Anything can happen in this league, with the dregs and elite sandwiching a large, soft-center of mediocrity, but it's now the time to show your mettle, and depth.

Yeah the Lions definitely made a game of it. Their running backs weren’t that impressive but the team as a whole was pretty good. On another day they wouldn’t have gotten that first penalty on the 2 point conversion and they would have won by a single point.

But the thing is, there were several stops by the Cowboys defense in the red zone, and you’d think the Lions left points on the table there.
The Lions are incredibly inconsistent. As are the Niners, imho.

The Ravens are the only lock I see right now, again the NFC is wide open.

The 49ers have the only 12-4 record, with the Cowboys, Eagles, and Lions close behind at 11-5. There is only one team at 9-7, the Rams, and then multiple teams at 8-8.

It’s true that the top NFC teams have all been somewhat inconsistent, but they are likely to step up with the season on the line.

Remember though they also beat the Cowboys. So basically they beat the two good NFC East teams and lost to the two bad ones.

Any given Sunday.

That said, I still believe the Ravens are the team to beat...

Yes, the Bills offense is not peaking, which is a big issue. I think they can beat the Dolphins, who I think even less of (plus, they got injuries). But after that...I mean the Bills would get all home games, except for the Ravens, as the second seed. So maybe they scratch one out, but after then...I don't see them getting through the AFC gauntlet. I don't think anyone but Lamar can beat the Ravens.

Agreed. They are the no.1 in the league as a whole at 13-3 (before I was quoting just the NFC teams, not the AFC).

In the AFC besides the Ravens at 13-3, there are the Dolphins and the Browns at 11-5, and the Bills and Chiefs at 10-6. Then there 4 teams on 9-7.

This weekend is going to be wild for the Bills, they could either win the division or they could miss the playoffs altogether.

If they beat the Dolphins they win the division

If they lose to the dolphins and the Steelers win, they miss the playoffs

Quite the wild swing. And I would love to see them miss the playoffs for the hilarity that will ensue.

Depending on the injuries in Miami, there's a very real chance to beat them.

Agreed, but the Bills have played some really goofy games this season and have lost to teams that they had no business losing to... They can very easily lay an egg at any given moment... Granted I think they are dialed in right now but you never know, this league has been crazy this season.

If everyone stays healthy on both sides a BAL vs SF superbowl would be pretty epic I think.

But if history is any indication with the NFL... funny stuff always happens in the playoffs and rarely do we get the top seeds both facing each other.

Didn't BAL just kick the sh*t out of them?

Not just win the divison, but the second seed. Second seed or miss the playoffs. Quite a swing.

The Bills also make it if Jacksonville loses.
