He has trade value, but the Broncos will have to pick up a good portion of that salary.
Doesn't he also have a "no trade" clause in his contract? I think I read that somewhere. It may work out to be cheaper for the Broncos to just cut him loose, even with the salary caps and guaranteed payments they'd still have to make.

I suspect Wilson could definitely help a number of teams, but at age 35 and after 3 very recent mediocre seasons, he's nobody's long term quarterback solution.

The dirty truth the NFL doesn't want to admit: only 2/3 of the starting QBs in the lead are viable. The other 1/3 would be playing for the USFL/XFL.

So for teams thst might want a game manager, Wilson might fit the bill for a few seasons. But...that contract. Oy.

Sure.

From his time in Seattle:

Marshawn Lynch couldn't get Russell's phone number (start at around the 1:30 mark) :

To be fair, Marshawn isn't know for his loquacious nature. The man would rather pay $1.2M in fines😲 rather than talk to the media.🤫 Even if he had Russel's number, I don't think he'd call.😁

I jest.

If know someone as garrulous as Lynch, I wouldn't hesitate to give him my number. I know if he calls, he will have something important to say.😎 And it would be short and to the point.👍👍👍

Lions v Cowboys might be interesting over the weekend, the Cowboys could still overtake the Eagles. Colts v Raiders, two teams with some playoff hopes. Bengals v the Chiefs, the Chiefs on the slide and the Bengals not out of contention. The Steelers v the Seahawks duking it out.

If Vegas is correct, with Baltimore beating Miami and Buffalo defeating NE in week 17, the AFC East title game will be played week 18, Buf vs Mia.

Rooting hard for Detroit - Buffalo's football sister city. They held Bills home games when the stadium got snowed out.

Plus, I hate Dallas.

Instead of a Detroit safety, its a Dallas TD. The NFL has such poor tackling, my kid's high school team has better tacklers.

I was quite impressed by the Cowboys receiving team of Lamb and Cooks, they did a good job. The final drive by the Lions to move down the field and score a touchdown was very well executed.

I'm more impressed with the Lions, except for the failed 2 point conversion, I just assumed they'd go into Dallas and get their asses kicked.

Yeah the Lions definitely made a game of it. Their running backs weren’t that impressive but the team as a whole was pretty good. On another day they wouldn’t have gotten that first penalty on the 2 point conversion and they would have won by a single point.

But the thing is, there were several stops by the Cowboys defense in the red zone, and you’d think the Lions left points on the table there.

The Lions haven't gotten much attention this year, which is understandable since they're the Lions after all, but they've just kept winning.

It's going to be interesting to see what they do in the playoffs

The tape showed the lineman said something to the ref before lining up. It looks like the ref ignored it or didn't hear him.

Yes it does. But the explanation is that another tackle reported.

Doesn't matter, in the hearts and minds of the Cowboys, they know they lost. Between that and the Lions going for it on 4/G in the 1st, that FG wins the game for the Lions.

I doubt the Cowboys will want to face them again. And if they do, it will be in Detroit unless the Cowboys find some way to win the Division.

The Baltimore - Miami game is ridiculous. While the Ravens are dominating, Tua had to go into the tent with an injury... his fault for running, but he slided and several Ravens players still attacked him. No flag. A little later, players were fighting, two flags for Miami, none for Baltimore, but their players were on pulling face masks of the Miami players.

It's almost like the refs are doing everything in their power to get the Ravens and Eagles into the SB.

Well, Bills won/Miami lost, so AFC East championship next week. But I am not happy, Bills offense was garbage against NE. Plus, Josh took a shot in his shoulder, we'll see if that was anything.

Besides, it looks like the Ravens are unbeatable now. Peaking at the right time.
