Watched The U this week.
They shamelessly left out the 1986 Sugar Bowl.
Another "can they both lose?" moment for me. I do however love the fact that FSU was ranked so highly and have absolutely sucked from the get go.

I thought the Huskies finally lost at home, anyhow both team can still be bowl eligible.
I just realized there is another NCAA thread that's sort of being posted in as well as this one and I' ve been posting in it. It is an old one? Some of the posts are recent (besides mine). Can we get rid of it or combine them if THIS is the "official" NCAA thread?

I didn’t think Clemson would beat Louisville and I expected Louisville to come out the victor and they did. As for SC beating Texas A&M, I’m a little surprised, but you can never tell with rivalry games. I figured OSU would take care of Penn State as did SMU over Pitt, but I did NOT expect Texas Tech to beat Iowa State.

The Ducks looked like they were Junior Varsity High yesterday. That game should have been a blowout but with all the penalties, I thought we were going to be sadly embarrassed by breaking our perfect record by losing to MARYLAND!

I was really fearful of Georgia Tech and figured if anyone would beat them during the regular season, it would be GaTech and I was right. I’m also not happy this is a bye week for Miami. Yes, they’ll be rested, but they’ll also be a bit out of sync.
They cannot afford a large deficit and expect to easily claw their way back and win. Until proven otherwise, a 2-loss Miami team will not get the same consideration as a 2-loss Georgia team when it comes to the polls and especially the playoff rankings.
Because of their ranking, every team they face will be out to play the spoiler. The pressure is on Oregon to stay unbeaten or to not lose embarrassingly. Their remaining opponents can play as carefree as they like. They’re already expected to lose so why not throw everything including the kitchen sink at Oregon?
I'm happy with Texas' ranking, but we don't have any signature wins yet. Not our fault Michigan and OU crapped the bed this season, of course!
The team will have a chance prove itself however, with A&M coming up and a possible SEC title game. I haven't been happy with the direction of CFB in general, but that's the nice thing about an expanded playoff - there's a much bigger opportunity to prove yourself out on the field.
