Chiefs are finding out what the season was like for the 49ers, playing with backups due to injuries all season long.

Broncos have to play the Bills now. If they kick out the Bills…🤩

But the good game will be the Lions/Vikings.
This game is slowing becoming overrated. But I will stick it to the end.

Had a lot more fun this morning flipping between the Patners/Falcons (which was pretty epic) and the Bucs/Saints game.

I still get a little frustrated at the refs. During Bucs game receiver got flagged for doing finger guns on first down and then some minutes later on the Panthers game a player also did finger guns and no flag.

Several coaches gone today. And a couple I didn't expect.

Out:

Mayo in New England - surprise after only 1 year
Pederson in Jacksonville - also a surprise, figured he would get another year
Anarumo - Bengals DC - no surprise on that. Their defense was horrible.

Staying:

Daboll & Schoen in NYG.
Balke (GM) in Jacksonville

And Tyreek Hill wants out of Miami

I'm not surprised by Mayo at all.... He was really inept at this job. made quite a few boneheaded decisions on game days, team wasn't well prepared for matchups, a bunch of gaffs when talking to reporters.... Kraft feels like they hit on a QB with Maye and didn't want to waste any more time with bad HC.... This one was obvious. I'm sure they'll conduct a few interviews as formality and to fulfill the Rooney rule, but at the end of the day this job is Vrabel's

Who do you guys like in the Playoffs?

In the AFC, I'm leaning towards all the division champs winning. The Bill and Ravens should steamroll the Broncos and Steelers. Texans will barely edge out the Chargers. Both teams have suspect o-lines. Bosa/Mack will make life difficult for Stroud and Hunter/Anderson will do the same for Herbert. Chargers don't have any WR of note and the Texans have a pair of shutdown corners, so Herbert will have to hold on to the ball longer than he wants to.

The NFC, I see the wildcards Vikings and Commanders winning. Eagles should beat a Love-less (at least a hobbled Love) Packers.

Here are my predictions for wildcard weekend... Admittedly some are based on what I wish will happen lol.

(Winners in Orange)

Chargers vs. Texans

Steelers vs. Ravens

Broncos
vs. Bills

Packers vs. Eagles

Commanders vs. Buccaneers

Vikings
vs. Rams

grew up in Denver so I cheer for the Broncos, lived in Minneapolis for a while so I cheer for the Vikings, now I live in Los Angeles so I cheer for both the Rams and the Chargers......however I suspect none of those 4 will make it to the Super Bowl.

I'm hoping to cheer for the Lions in the Super Bowl

I grew up in LA so the Rams are the closest I have to an NFL 'team', but they left town when I was a kid and I had already moved back east by the time they returned. So while I'm happy to see them win, I don't have a strong connection.

I'd like to see the Lions win it all - I feel like Detroit fans deserve it. :)

Vikings
vs. Rams (close one, with the risk of the Vikings screwing up in the second half)

(Winner bold)

That is, if no major injuries happen.

I’d rather like to see the Steelers, Broncos and Packers win. I wouldn’t worry about the Lions. The NFL would love to see the Chiefs eliminated and other teams in the SB, so they can sell more merch. We’ve seen Refs making decisions in favor of specific teams last season (including suspended refs when it became too bloody obvious) and this season as well. So I think the Lions, Eagles, Ravens and Bills are safe when it’s close and the final score depends on flags. I wonder if we’re going to see some crazy stuff like in the 2019 Saints playoff game.

Eagles should beat a Love-less (at least a hobbled Love) Packers.

And Watson has a torn ACL, so one less good target for a hobbled Love.

And the Bears want to interview McCarthy. Not a huge fan, but he would be the best coach the Bears have had since Lovie. And he needs to get away from the soap opera that is the Cowboys.

WHAT ABOUT LADD MCCONKEY?????? (And I am sad sad Dolphins fan right now, but Ladd is legit…think they would take Reek is a trade?)

The guy lied about watching all the offensive plays from the year when he was hired to be Cowboys coach, so yes! That would be a classic Bears hire.

My winners for the Wild Card round...

Bills over the Broncos
Ravens over the Steelers
Chargers over the Texans
Buccaneers over the Commanders
Eagles over the Packers
Vikings over the Rams

And Antonio Pierce has been let go as well.

That is 2 former players, who were both great, losing their coaching gigs after one year.

as a raiders fan im over losing coach's i mean we expect to win right out of the gates? look at Lions HC dude didnt start winning till his 3rd year... gotta give coaches time to get what they want and not expect them to win right away.. i get it some teams can do that but Raiders have been crap for so long 2 winning seasons since 02?

Fellow RAIDER here: I like AP. I thought he deserved another year. I'm reading now on the reddit RAIDER board, some not so flattering comments about him. So who's to say? I still think one more draft, one more season would have been fair.

Rootin mainly for these two teams this weekend:
Bills - my friend that was killed by a drunk driver was from Buffalo and a huge Bills fan. Think of her every football season.

Commanders - I am fan of Dan Quinn. Still can’t believe the Falcons blew the lead they had over the Pats at the Super Bowl.

Yeah i liked him as well, he made tons of mistakes oh well he was a first time coach... he had a **** QB room. should have started AOC but i see why he started who he started but whatever we'll never win unless we stick to keeping a coaching staff longer then one year

I feel like the landscape of the NFL has become one where owners are panicking and cutting bait quickly if they don't get instant results.... I feel like a lot of these first time coaches can go on to become great coaches if given the chance..... Some of these rookie HC's are thrust in to a less than ideal situation with no QB and a rebuilding team... and are expected to win right away... It's unreasonable and quite frankly unfair. Owners are letting media/fans criticism and pressure dictate their decisions, rather than weighing all factors and showing some patience.
