I feel like the landscape of the NFL has become one where owners are panicking and cutting bait quickly if they don't get instant results.... I feel like a lot of these first time coaches can go on to become great coaches if given the chance..... Some of these rookie HC's are thrust in to a less than ideal situation with no QB and a rebuilding team... and are expected to win right away... It's unreasonable and quite frankly unfair. Owners are letting media/fans criticism and pressure dictate their decisions, rather than weighing all factors and showing some patience.
And now we'll get a retread coach, which can be fine, but it's a shame some new coaches get fired so quickly.

I like what Pittsburgh does... they have had ups and downs but they still stick with their coaches. I mean they have had four coaches since 1966... Thick or thin. They stay with their coaches.

Well, when 2 of them are HOF coaches and Tomlin has never had a losing season, it's easy to see why Steelers' coaches are so long tenured.

I agree with this. Give a coach at least 3 years to build a team. Even the great Jimmy Johnson took 3 years to build the Cowboys from laughingstock to a SB champion. A coach coming in and having an instant turnaround is rarer than finding a virgin in Amsterdam.;) It takes a lot--a whole lot--of good luck and smart drafting.

Depends on the team. My Dolphins are sticking with the status quo a bit long for my liking.

Y’all due to wildfires there will be changes to the Rams vs Vikings game. The NFL has announced that the Monday Wild Card game will be relocated to State Farm Stadium in Arizona in the contingency plan. If the fires are contained by Saturday will they play it as scheduled at SoFi?

No idea what will happen, except if the game is played at SF, I will be there.

IMO, it's not the coaching that's the problem in Miami. I think McDaniel is a good coach and a class act. He just doesn't have the roster (top heavy and ravaged by injury) to work with.

For years, Gary Kubiak had the same problem in Houston. They fired him, Denver pick him up. He rewarded them with a SB win.

NFL has yet to put out another update yet. We will see as the weekend approaches.

Levi’s stadium can be used, Niners have been eliminated from playoff contention.

The NFL has already said that IF the game is moved, it is going to State Farm.

All I saw in this post was "Niners have been eliminated from playoff contention."
Well better luck next time if we did not have so many starters injured at the start of the season! Aiyuk got season ending injuries and PURDY tried so hard to get the season to go smoothly, but our offense wasn’t as good as last season.

It is subject to change, so you are right. Only if the air quality is really bad around the surrounding areas near Inglewood. The stadium does not air conditioning but not sure if they ventilate the fresh air in there; SoFi had no retractable roof.

Yeah, $5B and no A/C.

But there are vents to allow ocean breezes to come through the stadium. So that could clear out poor air, but if the stuff coming in is just as bad..........

I would also think they don't want to pull first responders off fire duty to come do traffic and security for a game. Plus with 1000+ homes lost, residents are going to need the hotel rooms more than incoming fans. But I also see why the NFL would want the Rams who earned home field to have it.

Wonder why they didn't consider Allegiant in Las Vegas. Shorter drive for fans.

IK I hope the team reimburses the tickets 🎫 for the fans who cannot fly or commute to Arizona due to the weather. Hotels do have to have more rooms available for the fans who are under evacuation orders and/or lost their homes due to the fires. 🔥 Vegas isn’t affected either, but they don’t want the fans to risk going through the freeways blocked by the flames 🔥 to get on the 15.

Btw my NFL app has just confirmed that they will play at Cardinals State Farm Stadium 🏟️.

Dang. Didn't take StubHub long to get the game moved.

I have a ticket. It is way up in the nosebleeds, but I am going.
The NFL and Rams websites both say that season ticket holders can buy tickets starting Friday morning, and that all other fans can buy tickets starting at noon. You may get a refund if you bought a ticket(s) before the location swap, towards a next playoff or regular season game or to use for the rescheduled game. See NFL website for details:

Do you feel the same way about Dallas?

Or maybe it's the GM that's their problem. ;)

The rumor about denying McCarthy an interview with Chicago, shortly before his contact expires and he becomes a free agent anyway…does that signal Jerry wants to keep him, or is being petty before he's let go?

And now we'll get a retread coach, which can be fine, but it's a shame some new coaches get fired so quickly.

Maybe the GOAT can be part owner, call games on TV, and be HC as well! :D

At least there has been an acknowledgement that GMs and HCs have to function as a unit, on be the same page…but it still took a week to come to that conclusion.

Gotta wonder how many Rams and Chargers fans lost their homes this past week... which isn't that relevant as how many people in all...

The recent LA wildfires have had a significant impact on local activities, including sporting events. Due to smoky conditions around practice facilities, the Vikings and Rams relocated their game to Arizona. Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh revealed that his daughter Grace’s home was within an evacuation zone, highlighting the fires' widespread impact. More images of the fires near the Rams' and Chargers’ facilities can be found on their official website. To adapt, both teams reduced practice hours and players wore masks for protection from the smoke.

I've mentioned what a big Broncos fan my daughter is, but here's some proof of a small piece of her obsession in her bedroom. 😂 You may not be able to make it out but besides her bedding set, there is a blanket (of which she has many), a helmet, her purse, a cap, a glass, and a lamp. Her wallet is Broncos as is her eyeglasses case, etc. Don't get me started on the jewelry. They know her as the Bronco girl at the hospital because she wears Bronco sweats, hoodies, and a hat when she goes to get her chemo. This is a true fan albeit, imo, excessive! ;)

Oh hell no. I absolutely hate Dallas's upper management... ALL of them, but mainly the big guy himself. I was merly commenting on how I like what Pittsburgh does for it's coaches... there are teams that have had four coaches in two or three years, let along almost 60.

I got a rams mini helmet on top of the boxes where I store my Apple Watch bands. A rams blanket, chargers man cave sign and everything NFL around the Apple stuff. A rams mat and Rams/bolts pillows.
