You wonder why players sit out bowl games
I think I saw one or two other injuries but these were two notables from yesterday.

Elijah Metcalf injury update

Southern Miss wide receiver Elijah Metcalf exited the game after taking a big hit in the middle of the field. The cart immediately came on to the field, but he was able to walk off on his own and didn't go to the medical tent.

Today's only bowl game is the Hawaii bowl, its one of those that schools must love to go there - who doesn't want to go to hawaii, but the stadium is always empty. With holiday festivities in full swing, I'm sure the ratings are not idea as people have holiday movies on, or people over or just preparing for tomorrow (for those that celebrate).

Today's games

I'm looking forward to the 1:00pm, but of course I have meeting scheduled for that time, I'll try to have my laptop playing the game with the sound muted

I watched Central Michigan/northwestern game, I thought it was going to be more of a contest then it was. The New Mexico/Minn game was fun to watch. I was rooting for Minn, as I think the coach is a class act. Nice to see them notch a win

I'm surprised that GT let their game slip away against BYU. Credit BYU for never giving up and grinding out a win

I think leaving Ole Miss was a huge mistake, I guess he had a wandering eye for the past few years, wanting the Florida job, but missed out on that.

Only one bowl game today

I have my laptop sitting on my desk waiting to fire up youtube tv at 2:00pm. Even if work intervenes, I'll have that going, lol

There's three bowl games scheduled for today.

I both the 2:00pm and 5:30pm look interesting, I'll definitely be tuning into those, we'll see if the wife will let me watch anything at 9:00pm :)
