I thought he had at least another year of goodwill. I mean his record is stellar for the entire 21 years of his coaching - except for last year. I guess not

Ya know I think they've invested so much money that they were expecting better results, and they simply lost the patience. This NIL business is really going to do a number on everyone in college sports.

Given his comments directed towards Oregon, and I think their recruitment not doing terribly well, that might have a lot to do with it. Saban didn't want to deal with NIL stuff, and I think he himself struggled with that concept, so no surprise that Gundy could have been over his head with this stuff as well.

It's a cutthroat business.

There are those who already want Kalen DeBoer fired. He has a $60 million buyout in his contract, so if they could find some way to swallow that, all bets would be off.

I dunno. It gets harder and harder to stay interested with the current state of affairs.

But it is what it is, including the one team in the ranking charts that's not like the others. Not hard to spot, but if a hint is required, their won-loss record in an anagram of their ranking in at least one poll.

Tonight has Army at East Carolina. I'll probably have that on, though games with service academies tend to be boring or one sided.

I'll be traveling this weekend, so I may miss the friday games, and I'll most definitely not see any come Saturday.

If I was a betting man, I'd go with Oregon. With that said, I've not seen PSU play this year so I can't say how potent they are, but Oregon looks scary good.
I seen Penn State Vs Nevada i flew to the game to support my local college lol but that was the only game i seen Penn State play, i like the fact the the Ducks been playing all types of different players thoughout the season so far, i feel it'll be a real test for Moore but like i said it'll be a close game, and hopefully whoever loses doesnt drop to bad unless its a land slide

I caught some snippets of some games, nothing extended, but I was able to watch a quarter here or there.
My thoughts on Ole Miss and Georgia. I think earlier in the season Georgia was playing beyond their abilities, and being the SEC was ranked too high. I actually thinkg the same with Ole' Miss - I'm a fan of Ole Miss and like to see them win, but they're currently ranked #5, I don't think that will last.

As for Penn State, no surprise there.
Franklin's record is making the rounds and I the whispers of him not being the right fit at Penn state seem to be getting a tad louder - he's not on the hot seat but people are seeing him for who he is
