The Cowboys are treating the Raiders like a red headed stepchild or rented mule. At first I was surprised the Cowboys were up that much. Then I remembered they were playing the Raiders...

If Al Davis could see what is happening I don't know if he would be more embarrassed by the performance of his team or his son's haircut.

He'd probably say, "Oh yeah, that's how I left them..."

Our current state is his, and his son's fault.

And how he carried himself

During the college games he'd raise his arm showing off his 350,000 dollar watch, his entitlement during the pre-draft meetings. expecting franchises to change for him. during the combine coaches called him arrogant and unprepared. How his father, the coach pushed to have his college number retired when he only went 13-12 and no bowl game wins.

His entitlement screams nepo-baby

You're not wrong...

It was a game that I actually forgot was on, and I'm largely thankful that happened. Seeing the cowboys win would be too painful to watch. I don't hate the raiders, and I sort of liked the renaissance that geno smith experienced in seattle, so I was hoping that when he came to the raiders he'd have the same amount of success.

The average age of the NFL coaches is 47 years, Pete is 74 and like Bill Belichick I think time and the game have moved on from him. It may not be a far assessment and other factors are the reason but that's my opinion right now.

the toughest team the 9-2 broncos played was against the RayhDahs that Thursday nite.
yes they had 3 days to prep but only scored 10 points I think.

that would be nice and nostalgic if Pete Carrol had a .500 season
and was in the playoff (playoffs.....PLAy-offs?) hunt in December this season,
but not with the rayduhs!

Man, this is how I feel about the Bills and Pats. Ah well. It comes with being a Dolphins fan. The Cowboys are my wife's team, so I was happy with the outcome. Now the Pats games lately? Not happy with that LOL.

Really? Because the AFC rival games tend to be really good, doesn't matter if we're talking Jets vs. Dolphins, Bills vs. Pats etc.
Doesn't mean I don't hate the team LOL. Seriously. They have won SO many Superbowls with Tom Brady and now we have to deal with Drake Maye. 🤮 And don't get me started on Josh Allen. 🤮

hmmp

He's been hurt? I thought they went with Geno because it was an "upgrade"...
Geno Smith. o_O

The only QB I ever heard of, that ended up on IR with a broken jaw from a teammate.

Genius!

But I have to admit, he has rescued his career from the lows of his NY Jets years. I didn't expect him to still be around the league. Hideously overdrafted.

So the Sports Radio talk in Houston regarding tonights game is:

1) Historically Josh Allen & the Bills have underperformed in Houston.

2) Teams have been taking away the deeper routes and denying the Houston chunks of yardage. This works because if you force the Texans to play a short yardage game, they will find a way to screw it up.

3) Texans D is #1 and will be a challenge for the Bills. The Bills receiving corp is depleted.

4) CJ is still out and Mills needs to not force the ball downfield and just take what he is given underneath.

Unrelated question.

Are the Bengals going to be intelligent enough to shut Burrows down for the season after he is ready to play again?
It makes zero sense for him to play and he needs to be protected from himself.

That way he will have extra time to be in the best health before he gets injured next year.

Texans have a meh run game, but a dangerous deep game. Team can get away with letting the Texans run on them. I miss Barian Fostate.

Things are getting a little anxious and concerning in Buffalo. They were supposed to be super bowl contenders, and things are not looking great for the bills.

Its still possible for them to take the division, I do think they patriots are playing above their talent level and will come back down to earth

I also don't think there's one overall dominating AFC team, so if the Bills can get their act together they may be that team but they've not shown it this past month
