Jason Stidham's record:

Food for thought: Context: 6 quarterbacks have started playoff games in a season in which they had no regular-season starts: Rogers Staubach, Gary Danielson, Taylor Heinicke, Connor Cook, Joe Webb, and Frank Reich - only Frank Reich won.

I'm not saying Stidham will fail, but the Bronco's path to the super bowl has suddenly got incredibly more difficult.

And of course Frank Reich was at the helm for that epic Bills - Oilers game!

That said - while I agree the Broncos have a tough path, I loved Nick Foles comment about Patriots struggles with backups!

Bills have fired HC Sean McDermott. Not too surprising. Just couldn’t get the job done in the playoffs.
WOW

Tbh, I do find it surprising though he like Tomlin has largely failed in the post season. I think that's largely Josh Allen's fault. Still you can't fire the team, so you fire the coach

The big question is, who can you get to replace him?

The Bill's super bowl window isn't as wide open as it was the past few years and now having to hire a new coach is going to make that even harder.

Turns overs will kill a drive, and lose games - another team with a lot of TOs are watching the conference game from their living room.

The texans made it interesting in the 2nd half but they couldn't over come the mistakes of the first.

You can't look past the Broncos, but w/o their starting QB it's hard to see them winning, but and its a big but. NE is a young team and they can't assume next week will be a walk in the park.

On the NFC side, LA has played just good enough to eek out a win, next week they need to play a lot better again seattle.

You see offensive unforced errors and mistakes. I see excellent defensive pressure in the box and constant blitz pressure, all permitted by all-pro level corner play, sowing a land of confusion on the football field.

thank you, Denver and other teams practiced taking the ball away all last week.
according to a long time friendly source, the Broncos defense backs took time from usual drills
and tried catching footballs (he could not say how) as the line took drills by.... well doing weird things.
HC Payton knew this was the advantage.

about the Bills HC boot, after his comment on officiating recently, i'd fire him as well.

Indeed Denver too! But I was referring to the New England's defense in particular.

you are still following the broncos this month, eh?
My daughter is a DIE HARD Bronco fan (I posted a photo of just her bedroom last year...total orange and blue, so is her LR, so is her eyeglass case, her coffee mug, her purse, her bathroom mat, etc) and Bo Nix is an ex-Duck, so yes, I'm following the Broncos (I also follow the Chargers/Justin Herbert).

What an ending to a game last night! (Bears/Rams). That "lucky" pass into the end zone was crazy. I wanted the Bears to win, so I was disappointed in that INT and the outcome but enjoyed the game.

I saw a QB whose brain periodically freezes up and he does stupid things instead of eating the football.

He has been a disaster 2 weeks in a row.

That was fun to watch. Actually, with the exception of the 49er's game, the games have been pretty good this year.

Pulling for a Seahawks (don't like the Rams) and Bronco's Superbowl, but I know the Bronco's have a huge hill to climb with the starting QB out. EEEK.

Can I just say, I am soo glad the Chiefs are not in it. :)
