Looks like Mike McDaniel pulled himself out of the running for the Brown's HC position...
As would anyone with any common sense who doesn't want to waste two to three years being the owner's puppet. It's really comical the way the Browns have been such a dumpster fire for so long. They had one good season in nearly two decades and they got rid of every player that helped make it good the first chance they got. They just keep doubling-down on the stupid. LOL.

Comical is about the only way to describe just how bad the Browns have been since 1999 when they came back into the league.

I didn't compile these numbers, but a quick review looks accurate to me.

I can no longer tolerate Smith*, pictured on the left or "mad dog", pictured on the right.

Jeff Saturday, the one in the middle I do like and respect.

And this whole firing McDermott* fiasco is ridiculous.

The actual clip:

* Ironically he's correct about this mess.

seems to me these talking heads are more controversial than informative.
I tuned out in mid-1999 especially espn one day, probably some lying crud babble about the Tour de France
or a negative false aspect on the Expos that year.

they miss a lot, play and tactic wise on the field of play and push only hot topics in sports.
shame since I know a few who work for espn who are nice people.

I'd love to see how many times they made the post season in that time and how many wins each of them compiled.
The Browns have made the playoffs only 3 times (4 games total) since their return in 1999, and had only one win (Baker Mayfield in 2020):
  1. 2002: Wildcard loss to Pittsburgh
  2. 2020: Wildcard win over Pittsburgh
2020: Division loss to Kansas City
  3. 2023: Wildcard loss to Houston

Speaking of the Bills, does anyone remember when they fired their HC as they were losing 4 Super Bowls in a row? Was it the same ownership as now?
The team was sold in 2024, the original owner Ralph Wilson Jr died in 2014, and I guess it took time to settle his estate. The new owners Terry and Kim Pegula paid 1.4 billion

Marv Levy coached those Bills from 1986–1997 (1993 last SB) After retiring from coaching in 1997, Levy served as the general manager of the Bills from 2006 to 2007 and he is over 100 years old this year!

PATS by a lot
SEA by a just enough
Such weird times, I just don't get the NFL I know I'm beating a deceased equine.

As for the Pats/Broncos. This definitely is a trap game for the pats. Drake Maye hadn't played his best in the NFL, and with the Broncos having the #2 defense in the league, they could make things interesting. The Patriots should win, but the proof will be in the pudding.

Rams/Seahawks, the rams haven't played great football during their playoff run - barely good enough to eek out a win. I think if the rams keep playing that way, we'll see the seahawks win

thinking......
thinking....

I seen every bronco game this year,
they should have lost everyone of these games but the Cowboy they had a cushion.
Nix was okay, then 4th quarter he rescued the offense for that lead as the defense stopped that last drive.
Nix looked mediocre at times as many possessions went 3 plays and punt.
the running game could be better but got the job done.

the Broncos can win Sunday on a backup QB since the defense is THAT good.
or they can be burnt out.....but in Mile High? were the Bills were suffering Saturday?

Rams peaked a little too early this season while the Seahawks seem to be at their best now.

And maybe the Broncos peaked a little too early as well....plus thy've now lost their QB

I'd prefer a Broncos/Rams Super Bowl, but I suspect it's going to be Sea/NE
