Not going to jump to conclusions but, I reckon Colapinto will crash, leading to a well timed safety car and Gasly will win the next race. Lando will go on to win the championship from Oscar and in 2038 Oscar will rinse all his wealth suing the FIA for his missed championship.Oliver Oakes out as Team Principle at Alpine with Briatore assuming the helm.

Alpine team principal Oakes resigns with immediate effect, Briatore takes over
Alpine has announced the immediate resignation of its team principal, Oliver Oakes. Flavio Briatore has taken over his role.www.racefans.net
I can't stand Flavio.Colapinto replacing Doohan is now official.

Colapinto to replace Doohan at Alpine for next five rounds
Alpine have confirmed that Franco Colapinto will replace Jack Doohan from the Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix onwards, with the squad opting to make the change following a disappointing start to the campaign for Doohan.www.formula1.com
So now that it is official this swap is taking place, I read an interesting post on another forum that itself drew from multiple Reddit threads that implies that Colapinto's contract will be a short-term confirmed deal like Doohan's was.
The speculation is that Briatore is making deals with various driver's sponsors to secure said driver with a race seat for a limited period and then once that time period is up, he invokes a "performance clause" to kick them to the curb and sign the next driver. In addition to Colapinto's sponsors, Briatore is said to also be having talks with the sponsors of Reserve Driver Paul Aron and those of "legacy" drivers like Mick Schumacher (who drives for Alpine in WEC) and Zhou Guanyu.
So basically Flav is turning Alpine into a pay driver scheme like Toro Rosso/Minardi because the teams finances are in that much of a mess. Oliver Oakes resigned due to his authority over driver selection being cast aside in favour of Flav's consultancy role making those decisions instead, allegedly. Hw won't be out of work long with his experience though.Colapinto replacing Doohan is now official.

Hopefully MBS and his days as the President are numbered though. There must be talks within the FIA that even their public image is yet again tainted by his authoritarian approach to management.MBS wants to remove Cost Caps in F1. He will present a proposal. 😂😂😂

There are rumours surfacing that Red Bull are in the process of forcing Horner out of the team too, so we could have two ex team principles on the market very soon. As much as I really dislike Horner as a person, he's a very good TP and instrumental in making Red Bull what it is today. If Red Bull are not careful, they could be in danger of turning themselves into a 2010 onwards Ferrari where all the good people either leave or are forced out, and they simply slip down the field.
The FIA were weak in overturning his 'life time ban' from motorsport. He really shouldn't be even getting access to the Paddock Club, let alone now running a team again.meh
I can do without Flav.

I would fully get behind Carlos Sainz Sr taking the role.

The sport if you can call it that, yeah, it needs a lot of spice to turn up the heat, after all this is a US brand, for the US audience, who are fed a steady diet of dull sports, and events, that WWE/WWF.. NASCAR, indycar, baseball, basketball..
So having a rebel is good for the brand.. So as much as folks maybe don't agree with what he did in the past, it is what we watch for 24 weeks a year.. there are enough weeks without.. and maybe the meal is better with a bit of strong spice..
I keep seeing lots of further rumours suggesting Horner is stepping down as team principle at Red Bull after Imola. Franz Tost being a rumoured replacement due to his experience with Toro Rosso and whatever else they've been called in recent years. I had thought he'd retired to be honest.
If true, I think its an incredible gamble by Red Bull to replace a guy who has been instrumental in their success and evolution. There was once a time when Ferrari didn't think they needed Todt, Brawn, Byrne, Stepney, Iley, Simon etc.
