Indeed. I think Red Bull have (finally) figured out Singapore, so they should keep McLaren on their toes.
And hopefully Ferrari will remember that it is Lamborghini that has the tractor division.![]()
Oscar vs Max...?I’m convinced the Red Bull recovery is real also. Pace looked good though FP1 and FP2.
Should be exciting the rest of the season. Nice to see Oscar right back on in FP as well.
So no Williams on the grid?
Great lap from George. I wonder if he’s fired up due to the contract situation as hot tracks don’t usually suit the Mercedes.
The wall brush in his first lap of Q3 must have had him reaching for a new set of overalls.
Max is the only one in the top 7 without a wing man for a change.
I’m expecting fireworks at the start a as of the end of the race!

George is fighting for contract terms. P1 he gets a 2+1. Otherwise 1+1. 😉
Pheeeewww... also, when will I learn that '"disqualified" in F1 never means disqualified? They will start, just P19 and P20 (or possibly even from the pit lane since they would need a wing change).
I want to laugh, but I am inclined to think there very well could be some truth to such thoughts...

Papaya rules are finished after today. 😉
Not a great track. Just too hard to overtake. Lando could not get close to Max despite having the faster car. Yes some of that comes down to the drivers, but the circuit has been a big help. When Lando managed to get DRS it doesn’t seem to make that much difference.
As for the Lando and Oscar start, I really think it was just a racing incident rather than anything else.
Great race from George (not that we saw a lot of him!).
I was hoping for a spot or two of rain. Might have made it a bit more fun.
I certainly hope so. Listening to Oscar whinging was quite annoying, even though I know why he was doing so. And credit to Lando for changing his mind and deciding not to let Oscar pit before him because he remembered McLaren always screws up the second stop.
Also, the stewards decided that even though Hamilton was losing over 40 seconds a lap due to having no brakes, said issue was no reason to keep going off track so after just holding off Alonso at the checkered flag, they gave him a five second time penalty which promoted Alonso past him to seventh.
That’s how it looked to me too, but not on Oscar’s onboard (which made it look more like he just hit him).Lando made contact with Max’s R Rear receiving minor winglet damage. Looked to me he then over corrected into Oscar.
Well done George.
Oscar, you're apparently on your own.
Get on with it.
Way to go Carlos!

But even without that damaged front wing I don’t think he’d have got passed Max
