Well, it looks like Marko’s “we have a surprise” comment in Austin has appeared in Mexico. I wasn’t expecting this level. Seems like it could be risky.
RB21 Mexico Upgrades:
Front brake ducts
Engine cover
Floor body
Floor Edge Wing
And Arvin Lindblad is tooling around in Max's chassis right now in FP1 with all those updates.
Nine rookies in this FP1 - every team except Sauber (who have already met the requirement to run four rookie sessions in a season).

Which rookies are getting FP1 outings in Mexico?
Several rookie drivers will be in action during Friday’s first practice session at the Mexico City Grand Prix, with McLaren, Mercedes, Ferrari, Red Bull, Williams and Aston Martin all making line-up changes for FP1.www.formula1.com
I am going to have to think of something silly to do if Max wins this season! It will be a worlds first if he comes back like that from such a point disadvantage! And with Lando and Oscar given the green light to race each other.. I can see a collision between them coming.
Enjoying that grid big time! I expect Max to be able to move forward better than Oscar in the race though.Lando really showing he’s found his confidence under pressure these last few races, Piastri suddenly lacking and frustrated and seems to have been so since Baku. Great pole for Lando and chuffed to see the Ferraris up there too, Lewis finally has a smile on his face!

Great to see the Ferrari’s being competitive for a change. Hopefully they don’t stuff it up with strategy.
The McLaren’s looked so much more stable than the Red Bull. Those bumps were really unsettling Max.
I’m guessing an early night and then set the alarm to watch the highlights at half past midnight.
Indeed. Or are they just running so lowdown that the floor is bottoming out on the bumps?Looks like Red Bull made a serious miscalculation with the Floor and Edge Wing upgrades.
It’s going to be a struggle on Sunday. Max wasn’t happy after P2. This upgrade package was risky.

So:
- Max crashes into to Lewis on purposes like he always does. No penalty
- Max overtakes Lewis by cutting the corner. No penalty.
- Lewis cuts the corner. 10 second penalty.
Best part is, Lewis didn't even gain an "unfair advantage" on Max, as Max got ahead of him by crashing into Lewis and illegally cutting the corner. Max shouldn't even be ahead of Lewis in the first place.
Max is the golden boy of F1 who can do nothing wrong. They even engineered a WDC for him by changing the safety car procedures on the fly, something that has never happened before in the history of F1.
Just get it off your chest….. 😉

It's a fact though. Max is crashing and cutting the corners and nothing happens, while Lewis wasn't even gaining an "unfair advantage" as his real position was in front of Charles, as Charles cut the corners too to overtake Lewis.
Even Schumacher would get penalized for the stuff Max does, and he and Ferrari was favoured by the FIA back then.
lol I know right.. everyone moaning about Max and ignoring the facts. Lewis deserved his 10 second penalty as he ignored the Race Directors instructions on how to rejoin at that corner and he cut it gaining a 2 second advantage he did not give back.. Max did not.
A good proper scrap today. And a THREE way batter for the Drivers Championship! I never expected that at all third way through the season.
Mclaren can now impose team orders and get the drivers championship result they wanted all along. A few little tweaks to engine performance should do it without being too obvious. Given the Papaya rules nobody trusts them or believes anything they say.
FIA is now MIA? The Max International Assistance?![]()
