21.5" Delivery Times Thread

What are you replacing with it? Mine is replacing a 6 year old first gen Intel iMac. Still works great, just slow. I can't wait to see the difference.

Believe it or not, I'm replacing a 2011 model. Really want the fusion drive and upgraded RAM and processor (i7). I figure if I upgrade, might as well max out everything. Besides, my daughter wants my 2011 iMac anyway.
 
My iMac arrived this morning! After nearly two Years with only a 13" Screen this thing feels so huge! Great machine!

Thanks! It is here, today, I am stupendously happy with it! Love the nifty little superdrive too. Photoshop working perfectly which is such a relief - no issues with the slooooow HD :D

Are you transferring from Windows? I need a new external to write to, so will have to wait for that, but can access my files on my old Windows formatted external just fine. My iTunes figured itself out with iCloud because I also use an older macbook pro. Good luck getting the stuff sorted!

Refreshed today, my order popped up and a message saying TNT reuse tracking numbers. All is good, mines due Thursday. I'll be at work all day :(

Not going to bad. Some stuff doesn't translate to well. I pulled everything across from the old PC using Migration assistant. Worked okay on the first user, but couldn't get it to work on other users. So I had an external which I used but it wasn't as up to date as I thought so lost a bit more there (only favourites and stuff). Getting there slowly. Just enjoying the silent running and ultra quick speed. I've not done anything too taxing yet but it installs stuff so quick. Nik complete collection took minutes. MS Office took longer to remember my password than uploading the files. Same broadband speed as my old box but what a difference. I went for the Fusion Drive so speed is excellent.
 
iMac finally received today!! This is my first and this is absolutely gorgeous!! Dont know how the previous models looked on a desk, but this exceeded my expectations, again, it may be my viginity talking. I dont think I was this excited over the MacBook Pro. Plus I dont mind seeing the UPS man, LOL!! KIDDING....well maybe ;). All of you who ordered the 21.5", I think you will be happy, I am anyway :).
 
I'm going to give fate a chance on getting the 21in imac i'm going to head to my local apple store when they open and if they have any in stock I'll take one otherwise I think I'll wait till after the holidays. my imac has served me well since 2007
 
HI All,

In the UK. Specifically North West Kent (Nr Bluewater). Just thought i'd mention that i ordered the base 21.5 model on sunday and it already being delivered today. Dont know if ithats because i ordered it through my business (no VAT) but the point im making is theres not a 7 - 10 business day wait...

Eeeekkkk!! Excited!!

I am trying so hard not to be impatient but I ordered by BTO 21.5 iMac on Dec. 1st and it is still saying that it is processing! I had thought by now it would have at least shown "preparing to ship". I find my self checking several times a day. Still says delivery 12/19 through 12/24. Sure hope it comes early like a lot of yours has. Question, after if moves from processing to preparing to ship does anyone have an idea on the time frame to delivery?

Mine sat in Preparing for Shipment for 3 days. Looks like you've for a long while still.

I chose the express option. So, ordered on 4th, it went to preparing for shipment on morning of 10th, 5 hours later it was dispatched and it arrived on 11th at about 10 this morning.

so you ordered same day as me and probably made this post from your new imac while mine is still "processing" :(
 
Yes mine has arrived! What a beauty she is! Think I'm going to love using this machine!

Says it was made in Ireland by the way ;)
 
I guess I am not one of the lucky ones to get my 21.5 fusion drive early. I ordered mine on Dec 3 and it is still showing Processing. Expected delivery is Dec 14-19 here in Canada.
 
my 21.5" just arrived a day early, Fedex is amazing!! I will admit I squealed like a 12 yr old meeting justin bieber. The imac's a beauty, it's going to be so hard not to play with it till christmas :'(...

Oh and mine's made in the USA, and delivered here to southern Alberta Canada!

Harrisburg is only 2 hours away from me....still says "processing". Thanks to all for your responses. I will just need to be patient. I know it will be worth the wait :)
 
Finally after 11 days my 21.5 fusion imac jumped to preparing for shipment :D !!!

Edit: Shipped today expected delivery 17 december :D

I ordered the 21.5 with fusion drive on the 5.dec with express shipping and UPS dropped it off at my home yesterday right before i left for work :p Loving it..
