Having a man killed is a gray area?

I really liked the scene where Olivia is standing in front of her computer and is about to transfer the money. If she clicked on the "EXECUTE" button, I jokingly asked my brother whether she was being asked whether they can execute the money transfer, or whether they could execute Jonas Hodges. :p

Aaron Pierce? No way. He's all-american through and through.

I can see him doing it "for his country". He has done some cover up stuff before and has the motive.

Season 5 : Adams is ordered by the president to lock First Lady Martha Logan in a room and keep her under watch. Adams is later ordered by Logan to kill Agent Aaron Pierce and dispose of his body. However, Martha Logan confronts him, and during an ensuing fight, she shoots and kills Adams. Later Mike Novick finds out and, with the help of Pierce, disposes of his body.

Besides the hired gun didn't have time to plant a bomb in the SUV and the first daughter did ask him to kill hodges. In a joking way.

I actually thought that the Agent who was wheeling Hodges was gonna be the hitman. But something else occurred to me; how was someone able to place a bomb on the car? I know that Olivia gave that reporter guy the details of when and where Hodges was going but how in that span of 25 or so minutes was someone able to plant a bomb on the car without detection. The only reasonable explaination is that the hitman is someone inside the government which means that not only is Olivia's hands dirty but by default her mother's are as well.

I hope someone gets revenge on that bitch, and doesn't let her get away with it. That's what she did, after all.

there was a line from the movie " The Kingdom"- it goes something like

"every bomb maker eventually gets burned by his own work"

For Olivia, she could only double cross so many people and back-stab so many times before things blow up in her face

2 more episodes, Jack got rid of the bomb. What happens now, there has to be one more shoe to drop. The question is, is this the end of 24? Will Jack be back?

Seems the last shoe is dropping.:p

A few thoughts from tonight-

1. I knew Pierce would figure out that Olivia was a sociopath and turn her in and that Ethan Kane would be cleared I just didnt think one would cause the other.
2. I am sick and tired of Kim in trouble-it just plain old and boring now

The finale will be fun

So I've been gone for 3 months. I've missed out on a lot, but got a run down on some stuff from friends. I haven't figured out what Jack is sick from though. Anyone wanna fill me in?

There's only one solution: Kill Elisha Cuthbert.

Forget Kim. If we get the actor, we won't have to worry about her character.

No kill Kim. I loves me some Elisha Cuthbert.

@cuestakid - this time for once she didn't do anything wrong. If you want to blame anyone, blame Walker. She called Kim when Jack said don't. Everyone knows that once Kim shows up, they're gonna target her.

Seems like season 1 all over again!. But still episode. The last two will be great. can't wait

Very true-I guess my beef this time is with the Writers. And yes Rene should have listened to Jack

One thing that's bugged me about last week.
When Jack took the canister and went inside the hazmat vehicle and tossed the canister on the floor it went off. Filling the truck with killing gas. I understand this concept.

Then he opens the door and walks out. Wouldn't a whole bunch of that gas leak out the door thus infecting everyone around it ?.

That and the fact that Jack Bauer has to be the most super human in the world to be able to sit in there and breath all this stuff in and still walk around.

^There are 2 doors. The first door is the entrance into the hazmat truck, the 2nd is a room within a truck. Essentially a safe room. That's where the device went off.

Ummm...he did. About five episodes ago.

Teh Don Ditty is right-the cannister went into a containment room and that room was closed before the bomb went off.
