Does anyone else think that this is becoming even more unrealistic by the episode? I have watched every episode from the start and I have to say that this is the first season where I actually believe that they are being completely unrealistic-in almost every season, there has been a relative range of fantasy but it seems like this entire season is a fantasy

anyone see tonight's episode? I didn't see them killing off agent Moss.
What a traitor Tony is. Anyone know how many more 'hours' left? I feel like it started at 8AM...
edit indeed it started at 8. With 6 episodes left whats do you think its going to happen. I have no clue.

best episode in a while, especially when we find out almeda is a traitor. something tells me that jack is going to die at the end of this season, as the writers intended on making this the last season. then who's the hero of season 8? chole?

maybe if its a computer attack :p I thought they signed Jack for one more season... :confused:I thought i heard that somewhere..idk i hope not. Everyone who could be jacks replacement they killed off...his daughter?

He's signed for 1 more year. ;) That's the problem with contract news. You know he's not going to die........unless that news was planted to throw us off!! </conspiracy theory voice>
Tony died and reappeared. I bet Jack gets the miracle cure.

I don't think Tony is a traitor. He just knows something else is happening and wants to stay in character to get to it. Remember. Crap. what's his name. Jon Voigt said there was more going on after being arrested.

I am now starting to have cross-flashes between 24 and Lost though.:p

great show tonight. especially at the end when jack had a seizure while he was calling tony out. but i thought the kim part was sorta stupid. i think jack wasn't going to change his mind, he's too stubborn and won't let himself be a burden.

but i missed a bit right after the starkwood guy took the pill (stupid blackouts). can someone fill me in between then and the building exploding? thanks.

Well Jon Voight took the pill, and died. No surprises there.

In the next scene, the FBI agents swarm into the building and spread themselves out to search in all the rooms to look for the canister.

They cut to Jack at some base, alone with Tony and some FBI tech guy. Jack gets a phone call from the guy who was interviewing Jack earlier (at the FBI headquarters) about all the events that happened that day (during Season 7 ;)), and said there's an inconsistency in his story. He asked if Tony Almeida's informant regarding the White House attack was really a guy named "Vincent Carter"(?), or whether he mis-heard Tony. Jack says he's pretty sure Tony said the informant's name was 'Vincent Carter' (?).

Before the interviewer asks Jack his next question, the FBI tech guy asked Jack to come and take a look at something. On the screen, they can see the walkie-talkie of every single FBI agent at the scene (in the building). However, they see that the FBI agent who told them that the canister was not inside the building (it was actually Tony Almeida's friend/accomplice)!! He said he was calling from inside the building, which isn't true. He was well outside. Jack then calls Renee Walker to tell her to get all her men out of the building because it's a set-up.

The bomb then goes off.

Miss anymore than that?

BTW, Hodges didn't die. He's indefinitely in the next episode to be interrogated by Bauer, as seen in the preview.

You know, I do like the direction this season is going in. It was obvious that Almeida was acting fishy all season, and disappears, and reappears. I know people might not think it makes sense, but you need to remember what happens hour by hour. Then it all starts to come together. Almost season one-ish, except you couldn't tell that Nina was a traitor.

Ah OK. I DON'T get the previews in Canada (or perhaps it's just the network in my city or province).

I certainly didn't guess that. What a surprise that was.

that covers it. thanks. and btw, voigt isn't dead...yet.

Tony is still a good guy. He knew Agent Moss was dying and was an insider so he killed him. He knows there's more going on..He played Jack and knew by not letting him take his injection he'd have to go to the FBI medical place where his daughter will wind up at.

He will then get the stem cell procedure and his life will be saved. Had tony not done what he did Jack would have died.

Now Tony is free to continue his quest for the top leaders.

Jack will find this out at the expense of Jon Voigt.

just watch.;)

We'll see. I'm keeping an open mind about it as well. I can't wait to get this season on blu-ray, with super high quality bit-rate! Does anyone know if redemption will be included in the season 7 blu-ray edition?

Tony is bad-period. Why on earth if he was good would he kill the director of the FBI, then try to have an entire tactical team plus his girlfriend(come on, we know he and Rene are sleeping together) blown up. Tony is working for someone/something that is on Starkwood payroll-he was just playing everyone the entire team. The moment he aided a federal fugitive he became a wanted man-add capital murder and attempted capital murder and you end up on the most wanted list.

@fiercetiger224

can you explain what you mean by Larry being an "insider"? Do you mean he was bad? How did you reach that conclusion. Even if he was, how could Tony prove it or even know?

great episode, we see more of the jack we know, but he's slipping. i was wondering why he said palmer (one is dead, and the other one wasn't in the show. then i knew it...he's slowly slipping. i think he is dead meat by noon.

anyone find it ironic that jack went off on the lib (janene garfalo) about ctu being recommissioned?

one thing that got me was that chole and her husband were sleeping on separate beds. seeing that we see one night stands all the time on 24, it's just odd to see a married couple not sleeping together.

I don't see Jack getting killed off just yet. A "24 miracle" will happen in the 23rd hour. I still think we have 1 or 2 more big plot twists just not sure where. I still don't trust the first daughter.

The first daughter is no longer just a corrupt, power hungry, attention seeking brat. She is now a full blown sociopath and is now organizing a hit to be carried on a government official which amounts to treason and a federal offense that not ever her mommy can save her from. As for Tony, there is one thing I don't get; why did they just not kill the brothers ?. I mean the only have to link them to it; why go through the trouble of a kidnapping, making threats, getting them ready and everything. Why didn't they just kill them, launch the attack and leave their bodies there?

My waay out there guess would be that blood traces from dragging the bodies and possible eye witnesses could suggest foul play and compromise them. More efficient to have them die on scene

Speaking of which, i still don't think Almeida is bad and i have this eerie feeling the secret service agent might leak that Hodgens is still alive but i'm probably just being paranoid though

And yes the First daughter is might as well be a terrorist herself with her antics

Last time we saw Chloe and Morris is when Morris got Chloe out of custody by telling FBI where Jack was.

Chloe was beyond pissed that he did that, thus sleeping separately.

I still don't trust the first daughter.

The moment that b*tch appeared on camera, I just knew she was no good. Every single episode confirms that.

No way Aaron Pierce leaks anything. It's Aaron Pierce.

I do see him going to the President and saying something along the lines of

"Oh hai Mrs. Prez, yer daughter is bat ***** crazy. kthnxbai"

that last episode was awesome, getting those old ctu servers up and running!. Jack is really loosing it now screaming david palmer. I reckon they took some form of DNA from kim before she walked out. He survives all is good specially if he is doing season 8

Are you asking me why I thought he was an insider? Peace was the one that said that, not me. :p So you should try asking him.

Anyway, it was an awesome episode monday night. I liked the way Jack went off on Janis, because it actually shows that he's deteriorating every hour. That's one thing that threw me off on season 6...He came from a chinese prison, and for the first couple of episodes, they did show how he was broken down from being in prison for a couple years, and then, all of a sudden, he turns back being normal again. They did a lot of things wrong in that season!

And boy oh boy, FBI turning into CTU? :D
