mike novick and don't forget about agent aaron pierce(?). He's been around since season 2 at least (didn't see 1).

Actually, pierce was on season 1. I was watching a bit of a 24 season one rerun a couple weeks ago. Pierce was working the entrance of the first area where Jack "attempted" to assassinate Palmer. He could have been in other parts of season one also.

The movie was better

On a not really related topic but has anyone seen the new show "The Unit" its kinda cool, plus it has Palmer in it.

It's not bad. I finally caught a full episode tonight (because House wasn't on this week). 24 fans might like it. But they would probably like the movie that came before the series even more. It's got everything the blonde kidnapped daughter, the tightly wound "agent", conspiracies, betrayal, and smart dialog. If you've already seen The Unit you will notice a lot of the terms they use and the tone of line delivery is the same. I highly recommend Spartan for 24 fans.

That was a pretty good episode.. very sad and moving when the CTU guy and Lynn die. :(

Damn I got all excited when I saw this on iTunes, I was like "24 on iTunes! omg!" :)

did anyone else think, "uh oh" when jack told Kim's friend to take Kim as far away from the city as possible? that usually translates to: something is going to happen to her in the next episode.

kidnapped again?

nobody in history has been kidnapped so often

but batman and robin, from the tv series, have been captured by the bad guys too many times to be plausible...and of course, they got away each time

Holy crap!

Holy double triple quadruple cross. How many people does Jack have to strangle this season? I'm surprised Jack thinks he even has to threaten Audrey. She knows him and what he's capable of. I bet you she did leak the data, but didn't know it or she's being framed. I think her turning out to be evil is just too much of a stretch.
I don't think we've seen the last of Desmond... I mean... that German MI:5 agent. Even if we don't see him again this season. He could cause trouble for Jack next season. How is Jack going to finish this day? He needs to stay dead and disappear right. Maybe he could go black ops or freelance in another country.
Why does the music keep changing every episode? At least it was better than that wacky score when Jack first met Hederson or Tony dying to the Lion King theme.
When is some one going to stop RoboCop he's like the Energizer bunny.

This season is getting out of control fast. I love it. I really wanted the 2nd half of the season to be about China finding out he was alive and wrecking some havoc but they seem to be going in a great alternative direction.

MI5 is British. Good episode tonight. I had a feeling Audrey was involved somehow when they mentioned that the conspiracy went deep into the government, so I wasn't too surprised. Palmer's brother getting back in the game is kind of neat too, I just don't know if Aaron will be able to save the day again.

jack comming back from the dead i can understand, pretty much everyone dying this season, i can accept... an SD card programmed "selfdestruct" and catch on fire, this show has gone too far lol... (anyone know where ican find one ? apparently bestbuy doesnt sell those ones)

Also, i think the audrey was tricked into giving the information. it just doesn't seem like her. (but what do i know?:p ).

I have to miss the next episode:( if only i had a tivo:( :(

I saw a story on a webpage like 2 days ago about them making self destruct
SD cards, they're real. I'll try and dig up the link.

Edit:: Link

that erases data. on 24, the SD card actually started to burn up.

Desmond disappears again

Yeah, Chloe said he was German but trained by MI5. Like Jack is ex-Delta force. Of course that's still the USA. Wonder if Jack will keep his word even if Desmond doesn't want his help. Why does Desmond keeps running away from guys named Jack.

wow, great find... veery interesting as i suspect he might show up again in both shows, and those are my two favorite shows hmm..

Does anyone think Kim is going to have trouble leaving the city because of military road blocks and be put in harms way as usual? And maybe she'll just happen to be in the area of the next attack. What could they possibly attack in LA that is "too secure" and would hold 200,000 people anyways? The Staples Center? It has to be something the DoD has schematics of.

So the president is incompetent and the vice president is an evil puppet master.... or maybe the surprise will be the VP isn't evil. There better be stronger leadership next season. How much longer can this series really go anyway? Assuming Jack doesn't die again I mean.

i heard somewhere (maybe even earlier in this thread on the 24 forums) that fox has 24 on for at least 2 more seasons.

I have a question. Can the president give himself a presidential pardon? It seems likely but to easy.

i believe the episode mentioned some type of secure "distribution" center that would then affect and kill 200 000 people, not necessarily a place with 200 000 in it.

to the best of my knowledge they have them signed for 6 season (which would be one more) however im not certain. i know for sure that this isnt the last season though. also keifer has said that he will continue on the show as long as he is enjoying himself, so who knows how long it could go. keep em comming

Audrey!!!????

 Is it ture?

It better not be. I like Audrey. :(

And gee, Jack and Chloe almost got screwed if it haddend been for the self distructing mini-SD card!

Jack Bauer is like a lame duck agent to me ... what are they going to do? give him to the chinese? kill him? or let him be nobody again ... I dont' think they can really imprison him because the chinese would find out about that. They can dock his salary or fire him because well he's the greatest national hero ever ... and he's not legally employer or alive.

I fear the tao of germany, he's going to have a big role me thinks, jack doesn't need foreigh superagents as enemies.

i dunno. i have a feeling something happened with Audrey's key card or passcode or something instead of her actually being involved. usually jack's love interest (at the current time, so nina would be excluded) has been good people.

anyone know what wayne was doing heading toward the president? i missed the first 10 minutes-ish of tonight's episode.

weird...

now, i know imdb's future castings are usually incorrect, but please explain this: http://imdb.com/name/nm0515296/

Ron Livingston?? Not only that, but it has him as Peter Gibbons, which was his character in Office Space. Does that episode show a clip of Office Space? Well, I guess we'll see next week.
