For those who have been unable to take advantage of the $249 iPhone SE deal on Apple's U.S. clearance site, Apple again has a limited supply of the discounted 4-inch devices.

You can purchase the 32GB iPhone SE in gold for $249 or the 128GB iPhone SE in space gray or silver for $299.

Apple has been offering iPhone SE models on clearance since mid-January, but available stock often sells out quickly. Apple has done several restocks, however, giving those who prefer smaller devices one last chance to purchase a 4-inch iPhone on the cheap.

Apple originally discontinued the iPhone SE in September 2018 when the iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR were announced. Apple's iPhone lineup now starts with the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus as its entry level devices.

The iPhone SE, first announced in March 2016, was the last 4-inch smartphone that Apple offered, with the 4.7-inch iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 models now the smallest that Apple officially sells in retail stores.

With these clearance sales, Apple seems to be getting rid of remaining iPhone SE stock, and it's clear that available supply is dwindling. There are just three iPhone SE models that can be purchased on the site now, while earlier stock updates had more options.

Those who want to get an iPhone SE should do so soon because it's not clear how many more restocks Apple will be offering.

Not a great form factor (screen size) for older folks.

Such a hypocrite, this C(r)ook. The SE was never about Apple suddenly empathising with people in need of smaller devices to fit their hands, it's all been about clearing inventory. And now he's pushing his latest batch of oversized potato phones with no f--s given about the smaller form factor, like small hands stopped existing.

I realize some will say it undermines Apple's "high end" image, but if they would come up with a decent quality $249 phone, I think it would be hugely successful.

Both of my folks are 84 and they each have an SE.

    Are you saying they’re wrong?

Or are you saying that all old people are too stupid to use glasses and have 20/20 vision like everyone else?

Or that only younger folks are smart enough to buy a smaller phone. Oh! Wait! That doesn’t sound right!

Apple is free to run their business the way they see fit. They don't owe us anything. Buy their stuff if you like it. Otherwise there are many other options.

Then they have to stop the apology tour, every time they release a product; "oh, we are so free", "oh we care about our customers", "we are so forking bloody GREEN!", etc.

So I'm only allowed to buy a company's products if I agree with their C-suite's short sighted decisions? Good grief. There's Kool-aid withdrawal and then there's this.

Yeah, sorry - my browser wasn't updating the "out of stock" message when I switched colors. 128 Gold seemed to be there too.

With limited effort they would have been able to make the front of the SE all screen and it would still be a good selling device if priced accordingly. Huawei and other Chinese brands are selling phones with better specs as the iPhone XR for the price of an SE in India and China. No wonder people aren’t buying these dated tech over there. But Apple keeps blaming the economics

I still remember the low-fanfare press conference that introduced the iPhone SE.

Still $249 is good starter material at this point.

Apple will come down from this X-series ride soon enough, the heavy, outsized iPhones, and soon (2019) have the SFF XI.

Where is the 9-series - did I miss that news? Maybe that will be the SFF's name.

Love the small form factor. Love the home button. Love the headphone jack. Camera works great. Only paid $130 for a brand new SE when I jumped to Total Wireless. So done paying gobs of money for a smart phone.

I expect the iPhone 6S to be sold (at +$20 above the SE) at a similar sale in May 2019 - all sizes and colors.

Easily solved issue - get better reading glasses for $6/per at Costco.
