Another Shipment from India has Arrived !

AAPL doesn't Report iPhone Unit Sales anymore, so they don't care anymore about (hiding) ASP !
ASPs were never the issue. That was a point of strength.

Basically, only China had any major iPhone issues. The US set revenue records, along with several other major countries in Europe, Canada, Korea, etc.

Love how everyone is so quick to point out weakness as if it's widespread. Global business is hard and not every country is always running on all cylinders. If you follow the market, you'll know China is a major issue for many businesses.

My dad was using an iPhone 5c. I bought him a SE off Swappa for Xmas. Paid the $30 and got a new battery put in. He likes it. I asked him if he noticed any differences and he said he thought the screen looked better. I'm sure it probably did have more colors or brighter this or that. I was impressed my dad noticed.

Then they have to stop the apology tour, every time they release a product; "oh, we are so free", "oh we care about our customers", "we are so forking bloody GREEN!", etc.
If they promise something and then they screw up, they do owe us an apology. So if they apologize for such screw ups and fix the mistake, then they do so because they do care about the customer. Selling a product to get rid of inventory is something that every company does and needs to do to earn profit. The original comment was unnecessary overreaction.

Looks like all colors and both memory amounts are sold out, I clicked on all options and color, all say out of stock now.

So I'm only allowed to buy a company's products if I agree with their C-suite's short sighted decisions? Good grief. There's Kool-aid withdrawal and then there's this.
Again, base your decision on whatever criteria you want. Just that the company is free to make their own decisions. You can agree or disagree with it. And personal attack is real classy.

With an all screen front and no bezels it will be a slick phone imho. Won’t cost much effort on Apple’s part too. But such a model is more than a year late.
I suspect that the reason the 5 size phone disappeared from the lineup is that in a year or so that form factor will reappear with the edge to edge screen but at a higher price point than the SE used to be. Without the SE in the line up the entry cost is £450 (uk, inc sales tax) for an iPhone 7.Thats the new low. When it returns with edge to edge and faceID it will once again be the cheaper iPhone but the entry price will be similar to the 7 now than the SE's price then

Oh, we are on the same page - I meant their "faux superior" attitude when they release each model and suggest altruism!

And I miss it yet again (but very big & good real life thing going on)...

Congrats to all who snagged one.
