BEWARE:
I ordered my $249 refurb iPhone on the 18th, and received and activated it on the 20th with AT&T. I went to Apple's website under Support to verify my standard 1-year Apple warranty for the iPhone. It did not appear that way, instead my warranty said it will expire on Sep 8, 2008. OBVIOUSLY, AT&T did the whole refurb process (NOT Apple), and therefore Apple's support dtabase was not updated accordingly. Now I have to fax/mail my proof of purchase to Apple so that they can "hopefully" amend the start date of my 1-yr warranty. Shows you how much AT&T DOES NOT take the extra step to satisfy its customers....
For those who just received theirs... go to Apple's website and verify your warranty coverage!! It should start this month, not when it was first sold as "new" to the original customer!
