Yes, I know I've posted elsewhere, but for the people only following this thread.
Ordered 1st December (Australia) and finally changed to Preparing for Shipment this morning.
That was a painful 3 week wait!

Could you tell me if FedEx has any flights out of Shanghai on Saturday or Sunday. My BTO 27" missed the FedEx cutoff for Fridays flights from shanghai (PVG)
It missed the cutoff for Friday's flights? Or Thursday's? Or are there no flights on Thursday? It's only 11:30 am on Thursday in Shanghai right now.

My order number stayed the same, but it clearly shows cancelled and replaced with new product. I'd called instead of changing the order myself because I didn't want to cancel the old order, and had naively assumed customer service could solve that issue.
Now my BTO November 30th order is still processing with an estimated January shipping date.

Oh wow... Mine says week 51, now I'm really confused. Bayleaves maybe they spent a week hand polishing yours to brilliant perfection!
Still no tracking update, FDX90 direct flight to Memphis lands in 30 min. Either ours are on that plane, or they totally are not. If they are, it's strange they were not scanned a second time in shanghai. If we're not on the plane, who knows.
This is what I'm hoping. It is supposed to land in about 15 minutes, but who knows when they will scan. I am keeping my fingers crossed that ours are on this flight.

They probably will scan soon ... many of us have 2 day delivery and our Macs will move out of Memphis quickly
I am right there with you. When they started shipping early, I thought I might get it before Christmas. Then, the original CC charge went away. On Sunday, a new charge was there and my hopes were up again. Now, I am just going to plan on the original January 2-8 timeframe.
I know UPS scans again when a package departs, but it's not clear to me whether FedEx does. I looked back and most of the people posting their tracking info had UPS. But I was too lazy to look back more than 10 or so pages.
I hope your right, but this is what Fedex tracking shows:
Dec 19, 2012 18:53 Picked up SHANGHAI CN Package received after FedEx cutoff.
Dec 19, 2012 19:00 Left FedEx origin facility
FedEx scheduled to leave Shanghai at 10:30 am local time and the next one at 1:30 pm local. As indicated above, my package missed the cutoff for the 19th flts out of Shanghai so I assume it will be on one of those two flts on Thursday the 20th.
But I will check the tracking info later. Thanks for the heads up
I'm still amazed at how much extra time our orders take due to ordering one day later. Also, many others appear to have their iMacs up to two weeks earlier than the estimated delivery window, but it appears our iMacs will actually appear within the delivery window and not any earlier.

Ordered nov 30th at 8am. Original scheduled delivery between dec 27 and jan 3.

Working nicely. Boot rapidly. Problem with Unity Web Player that crash the whole system with polite reboot message. This is with Safari. Using Chrome for now to play BSGO with success. Worked well with 10.7.5 on Mac Mini with Safari (game on low setting). iMac plays all settings up.
Screen is almost too large and dense but colors are nice. Was getting used to 720p on 32" TV screen. Will have to play with fonts.
I hope you'll get yours rapidly.

Believe it or not, mine is still in the shipping cardboard, waiting for a full day tomorrow to transfer data.
Well, not sure how fast they'll scan, but it's been a little over an hour. May be that our iMacs will be on the flight to Anchorage in the morning. I guess I'll see when I wake up, but it doesn't look like Memphis tonight to me.
