27" Delivery time thread.

I ordered my 27" 1TB Fusion 680MX at about 2pm Eastern Standard Time on Nov 30th and was originally in the 12/30 - 1/6 delivery window. Then it moved up to 12/26, then 12/24, then 12/20 yesterday. It's out for delivery today in Brooklyn. Annoyingly, I took off from work today and it still isn't here. So kind of a waste of time but it's not everyday you expect to receive a $3k delivery. And I wasn't about to have it delivered to work and risk getting it damaged/stolen bringing it home on the subway.

Anyway, I'll be all smiles if it gets here within the next 2 or 3 hours. Wish me luck.

Alright Airnova, MacCruZie, Arman, Vlopex07, and...? I sure hope our iMacs are on FedEx flight 90! It has been a little boring tracking that flight across the sky, and there is still nearly 5.5 hours left in the flight. I'm still wishing for tomorrow, even though I know Monday is far more likely. But if we get arrival scans anywhere in the U.S., that's progress.

The bad news is that there is a big storm in the midwest (moving east I think). Hopefully that won't affect our timeline. I got an email from UPS saying that delivery for a package I sent to Iowa was delayed due to the weather.

If it says "processing" then you will have no updates. Its only when it says "preparing for shipment" when you should expect a tracking number within 24 hours or so.

got it but I ordered 2weeks ago and still in "processing".
is it normal?

My iMacs with the same tracking too. Hoping it'll be tomorrow for delivery. I don't want my iMac sitting in a facility all weekend long when it can be sitting beautifully on my desk. : )
 
How can my last scan date in China be after my date of delivery???

Thanks bayleaves. It's 8:10 and still don't have it. UPS tracking still says "On vehicle for delivery today". And some verbiage says normal delivery times are from 9:00AM to 7:00PM (and sometimes later) to residences." I can accept it not coming today. I just wish they could have told me sooner.

EDIT: I was just about to post this and then my buzzer rang. It came!!! :eek::):D

YAY!!!! Congratulations! Their routes are probably just taking them much longer than usual this time of year - they probably have a lot more stops.

Looks like flight 90 is scheduled for an on time arrival. I know I jumped the gun last night .... I'm hoping all of us are happy when it lands.

Same delivery dates for me (also in Aus). Woke up this morning and my iMac had gone Preparing for Shipment.... hoping it gets on the 20:20 flight from Shanghai tonight.

Hi there,
Sorry you're still stuck on Processing, I know how frustrating that is.
I also went through the 3 weeks of agony.

Mine shipped yesterday (20th Dec), it's now "In transit" from Pudong International Airport.
So hopefully in Sydney on Monday.

My order is finally "Preparing for Shipment"! I ordered on Dec. 1 at 5pm EST.
My scheduled delivery is Jan 2 - Jan 8 via Standard Shipping. Hopefully I get it before January...we'll see!

That is promising... I ordered on the same day and around the same time, and have an earlier delivery window than you... Congrats!

I am really starting to feel the pain Bayleaves went through. Here's another order placed 24 hours after mine and getting shipped before mine:(

I can't believe there are more Nov. 30 people still processing. Not cool. I am sorry you have had to wait so long. I wish I could make sense of how Apple is processing these orders, but I can't.

I am thinking positive thoughts for you and any remaining 11/30 people.

Just 20 minutes left in our flight (at least I HOPE it's our flight). I wonder how long it will scan for stuff to get scanned so tracking gets updated. They've just gotta be on this flight! :)

Check your tracking info .... my Mac made it to Memphis!
