27" Delivery time thread.

Just 20 minutes left in our flight (at least I HOPE it's our flight). I wonder how long it will scan for stuff to get scanned so tracking gets updated. They've just gotta be on this flight! :)

Just confirmed my iMac landed in Memphis. Now it will be a long ride back to SoCal. Still thinking Christmas eve delivery but crossing fingers for Sat delivery.

Congratulations you guys! Did anyone's estimated delivery date change? Doesn't look like mine was on that plane - I can't believe it. I hope they're just slow to scan everything, but the way my luck has been going, probably not. If it isn't on this plane, I'll just have to wait and see if mine hits Anchorage tomorrow.

No change. Still says Dec 24th. I bet urs is on Flight 28. That might not be a bad thing as it could be a quick flight down to the Bay Area.

not sure exactly. it wasn't there at 11:30pm - but it was at 12:07 (EST) - keep checking for a bit I guess. :( my date still est Monday.

Well, I think it's looks like mine didn't make the flight. There's no reason mine should take so much longer than all of you guy's packages to scan. It's been an hour since it landed. Now I just have to hope mine makes one of the two flights tomorrow so I'll still get it on Monday. I just REALLY wanted to get it before the weekend. I'll post later if it suddenly shows up in Memphis tonight, but I don't think it will. :confused:

Yeah, but it still won't deliver on the weekend and I'll have to call and change my delivery address because my office is closed for two weeks after tomorrow. The mailroom will still be operating during the break, but I think they're closed on Monday too. I'll call in the morning to change the address.

I suppose it's possible that somehow mine made today's flight 28 and it's continuing on to Memphis tonight (lands in about 2.5 hours), but I think that's pretty remote and that it will be on flight 28 tomorrow.

Ha ha - I'm such a pessimist. I guess mine WAS the last one off the plane after all. My tracking FINALLY updated and my iMac is in Memphis. It would have been pretty puzzling if mine had been the only one of ours not to make it. Mine must have been the first on the plane in Shanghai, and thus the last one off in Memphis.

It will show up at your door on Friday, after all. :)

From the packaging down to the smallest detail, there is Apple, and then there's everyone else. ;)

Oh oh, I hope you didn't jinx us. FedEx shows a red bar now at the top and reports there has been a delay in clearing import. Hmm. This could mean bad news.

Hmmm - I don't have that. It's probably okay. My tracking info keeps changing, but I bet any delay is temporary. I'm still not expecting to get my iMac until Monday though.

Finally some signs of life... My Credit Card got billed ay 1:17 AM PST (thank you fraud alerts) but the Apple site has not updated yet. I probably will not get it by Christmas but I'm OK with that as long as it gets shipped!
