Awwwww. Copying all my stuff over to my new Mac as we speak. Then I'm gonna put the RAM in and I'm good to go.

It's funny that you say that. When I check my tracking now it shows that it is still in Memphis. This is odd, since it's sitting on my table right now.

Haha, no kidding! :D Save a bottle for me. :p I'm still processing... It'll be nice to get past this stage...
 
Having ordered in the last week, I came to this thread looking for practical information on shipping times.

Instead this thread gave me a headache.
 
I guess you can add another to the Clearance Delay - Import group as my iMac is also held up in Memphis TN. Still shows scheduled delivery for Christmas Eve but I'm not counting on it anymore, bummer... :(

FedEx told me Apple had been contacted but the lady didn't know if the paper work had been received. But, she said it probably would clear overnight and be on the way tomorrow.

Sitting at ~24 hours of "preparing for shipment". I guess that is normal for the later orders (Dec 1st and up). Really hoping for Christmas Eve, but almost positive that won't happen. I guess it is OK cause would rather spend the evening counting blessings with family than to be stuck in front of a computer. God bless all.

I used to think I was patient....

I am another one who ordered on the 30th November (still processing), yet right from the get go my delivery date has always been 7th Jan to 15th Jan. Ive yet to see anyone with those dates so far out from the 30th..

Im in Australia btw..

You must have ordered the secret Core i9 option which delayed your order. I heard rumours that if you visit the Apple online store page at the very instant Tim Cook sneezes, the option appears.

I believe it will leave China on the flight the next day or the next business day. Mine had similar journey but because of the cut off, it was on the plane the next day...so much for the next business day as Apple promised :( Ordered 11/30 at 8 pm Chicago. Went to preparing to shipment on the evening 12/19. Here is the info...

Spoke with Fedex representative and has cleared customs and is on a flight to Anchorage......2 to 3 business day delivery.......... and agent indicated could deliver Monday; seeing is believing......

Check again. I went to shipped overnight and a delivery date of Monday with UPS. I have standard shipping, never called to have it expedited.
