I got a hold of fedex international, she says if customs releases the packages today then delivery will still be Monday. Got my fingers crossed
I didn't think mine would move over the weekend, but it has been and it should be here to me by monday!
I ordered on the 7th of December too!
This time the apple rep was super helpful. Had her supervisor take care of the fedex and all is good with the delivery still set for Monday. (Fedex tracking still shows the customs delay, not sure when that will be updated.)
Well to my surprise, Fedex is delivering today. Woohoo...Now I just have to wait patiently at home like a little kid hovering over the window looking out.

I guess the iMac is on the truck but most likely the truck is sitting in the Fedex lot waiting for Monday for someone to deliver. Bummer, in my rush I guess I didn't read the tracking closely as it doesn't actually say on truck out for delivery. I have been unable to get in touch with apple today, seems like their phone lines are slammed and can't take any more calls. I did call FedEx about 15 minutes ago and was told they are awaiting the necessary paperwork from apple. They claim they have reached out to apple but have not heard back yet.
My tracking status still shows a import delay as of Friday at about 2am and has not been updated since.

Ok, I'm more confused. Called Fedex. They tell me it is in the truck out for delivery today. Whoa?

Subalou, mine hit Omaha last night and left for Lincoln this morning so I'm guessing yours should be ready for delivery in Omaha. I don't know if UPS normally delivers on Saturday, but I'm seeing UPS trucks zipping around our neighborhood today dropping off Christmas packages!
BTW, UPS tracking really sucks. It's hours behind actual movement.

Top Spec 27" ordrered on 30th November still showing processing with an expected delivery date 7th-15th January.... so many later orders reporting in saying they have received theirs or that arrival is imminent...Sooo lucky

I just got off the phone with an Apple manager after being on the phone for one hour. He didn't believe what I was telling him that orders aren't being processed in the order that they're received. I placed my order Dec 1 and told him orders after mine were being prepared for shipment/already shipped while myself and others still have orders in the processing stage. He asked me for actual order numbers to prove it. I told him to come here on the MR forum and look in this iMac forum to see proof that people are pissed and that what I am saying is true. I actually got him to look at this forum and he will pass the feedback along to Apple. He was an ****** - he also said he's not going to offer me anything free at all just because other orders are shipping out before both myself and others in the same situation. Apple has horrible principles and the whole order situation is a complete f-up.
Really?!? I thought the wait for it to finally ship was bad… this is crazy. Fedex told me they weren't waiting on any thing. Apple said they have it all straightened out. But status is still the same as yours. I guess if it actually does deliver on Monday it'll be a Christmas miracle!

UPS tracking sucks wind - if my iMac box departed Louiseville at 3:13 am, you would think they had a chance by now to check in when they switched donkey teams.

I sure hope it IS straightened out. It's info blackout till early Monday now.. Everyone at FedEx who knows is gone, the ones who are there don't know.

So, I called into Apple. They're expecting to ship my Dec. order next week, and upgraded me to Next Day delivery, though I doubt that's going to change much. I was really, really nice (called in on a Sat, before Christmas - told them I appreciate how hard they're working, and how hammered with calls they must be.) At the end, as suggested, I said I had a question about the SuperDrive, and the representative added it onto my order for free. Win
