27" Delivery time thread.

. I was really, really nice (called in on a Sat, before Christmas - told them I appreciate how hard they're working, and how hammered with calls they must be.) At the end, as suggested, I said I had a question about the SuperDrive, and the representative added it onto my order for free. Win
On the flip side, probably won't see my iMac till early Jan...

Glad to hear - not a problem to ask for something.
Last night FedEx told me it was a palate with 50 iMacs ... must be more than us!
I am completely disgusted and mad now
. My precious is sitting in Chicago sorting facility and scheduled for delivery for Thursday 12/27 !!! I called Fedex and asked what about Monday, Wednesday? Fedex said my package is scheduled to be delivered on Thursday. Called Apple, they can't do anything about it. I can't pick it up myself as it's in a sorting facility. I am just so disappointed. I have no chances of getting it before X-mas. And Apple supposedly upgraded my shipping to "next day" when I called early December; at least that's what the order was saying. Next day? it's more like next week given it shipped out of China on Thursday. Hope you are getting yours faster....

Sorry to hear that; I clearly, like everyone else, would like it sooner rather than later but at least we are coming down the home stretch. The whole ordering process has seemed hard to reconcile. There are people that placed their order the first day and are still in "Purgatory" better known as "Processing hell". I will be out of town early January so as long as its before that it will be fine........let me refresh that screen one more time...................

Are those of you who are seeing shipping delays, did you order the upgraded 680 video card? I have a suspicion that is the reason for the delay, but I could be wrong.

I ordered @ 30/11 but lost several days with wired payment...
After confirmation (8 days later) it change to ships January

Stay positive! I ordered on the 30th, changed the order on the 7th and my date changed to January. It shipped on Thursday and should be in my hands on Monday.
