Mine was on the same flight and the last scan MyChoice account shows is the departure from Alaska. I see other sow an arrival scan but mine doesn't.

I have the paid version of MyChoices and haven't received the day before delivery e-mail. Still shows delivery of 12/17.

We might have been the first group to ship but definitely not the first to receive.

I have the same thing going on. MyChoice didn't give me any new information. Tracking still shows a delivery of 12/17

Here I am still in "Processing Items" status. My particulars are
Ordered online at 7:30am on November 30 from St. Louis MO...
27-inch iMac
Available to ship: 2 - 3 Weeks
Delivers Dec 24 - Dec 31 by Standard Shipping
3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
3TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB GDDR5

Called and got shipping changed to 2-3 day Business Days

Everybody seems to be getting their iMac or are tracking it in UPS/FecEx.

WHAT GIVES? I'M FEELING ABANDONED AND LONELY.

IS THERE ANYBODY ELSE OUT THERE FROM NOV 30 WHO HAS NOT GOTTEN PAST "PROCESSING ITEMS?"

I ordered around 11AM CST on the 30th. My card still has not been charged and the order is still "processing".

27", i7, 1TB fusion, 680MX

And Apple offered me no freebies. I had to call twice just to get 2-3 day shipping (12/27-1/3).

I ordered on the first day too. 6 am. I am still processing. I ordered just the basic 27". It appears that only BTO options are shipping. Called Apple yesterday to check and see if anything was wrong with my order. They were very nice and said everything was fine and I was still on schedule to receive by the 21-28 date. Has been that way since I placed the order. Has anyone that ordered the basic 27" seen any progress? At this point they may show up in the stores first.

Fedex. From what I have seen, Apple always adds a day.

Many people are saying they are even receiving a day earlier then Fedex delivery estimate.

A day earlier than Monday...? That would be amazing. Would the mean Friday or Saturday? Or because of the weekend it'll stay Monday. My last tracking update is:
- 12/13/2012 - Thursday
10:00 pm - At local FedEx facility SHANGHAI CN
2:39 pm - Left FedEx origin facility SHANGHAI CN
11:13 am - Picked up SHANGHAI CN
- 12/12/2012 - Wednesday
10:03 pm Shipment information sent to FedEx

I ordered mine around 11 eastern time am Nov. 30th (Toronto) and status changed to preparing for shipment around 9.15 AM this morning.

Anyone from Canada actually get their system yet? Also, any Canuks have prep'd for shipping status? At least Apple is consistent...my status is still "Processing Items", bought it at 5 am EST on the 30th. I called Apple to just "double check" and make sure everything was still going as planned, the service rep told me that everything is fine and volunteered the information that l "may" get my system earlier.....would be nice, but l'm not holding my breath.

I had this feeling ours were going to ship at the same time! CONGRATS!!! Hopefully they beat that estimate and deliver tomorrow ;-)

Thanks cheers!!

Hell before the 17th would be very nice that'd be just about overnight from China so doubt it. What was yours sent out Fed Ex Int priority?

Mine shipped yesterday, and arrived this morning, a day earlier then tracking said. Can't wait to set it up tonight.

Nice to know I have company.

I have the UPS iPad app and the MyChoices section on that app initially showed 12/14 but later changed to 12/17.

Not sure why some on the flight show an arrival scan and others don't.

Count me in I'm still processing, but I did get a free SuperDrive it already shipped and will beat my iMac here.

FedEx vs. UPS

FedEx vs. UPS -- What to Expect

So, for those of us in the USA who decided not to fuss with whatever standard shipping Apple decided to offer when initially ordering, it looks like your package will ship UPS "World Ease" (which seems to me they'll take their time getting it around the world).

From what I've been able to glean from my own UPS experience and those who posted on this thread, it appears that you should expect your package to be in transit about a week from the UPS origin scan (local time). Just in case (like me) you've watched others with FedEx shipping get theirs in a few day's time and thought you might be one of those guys, if you have the default shipping, you aren't likely to be one of those guys.

My advice: if you can beg the Apple guys to upgrade your shipping without it affecting your order, do it.

Thanks cheers!!

Yup, my tracking says: FedEx International Priority

Looking up rates and transit times (Shipping on Dec. 13) on the FedEx site, it says:

Fri Dec 14, 2012 10:30 AM FedEx International Priority® 3265.49

$3000+?!?! Apple must have a really good contract with FedEx! I'm not sure if mine will get here tomorrow though, as the last activity is:

10:00 pm At local FedEx facility SHANGHAI CN

Looks like I may have missed the flight and will be sitting til tomorrow (which means delivery on Monday) :(

I think I'm in the exact same boat.

Anyone else experiencing strange payment activities? When I first ordered, the full amount immediately showed up as pending on my debit card. Then it came off, then it was back on yesterday. Then the iMac shipped, and the amount is no longer pending but it hasn't been taken out either.

----------

Seriously, how many time in average between Preparing for Shipment to Shipped ?

Mine took about 24 hours. Some go as quickly as 12 though.

I did sleep! A little!

Now I have to make sure edry moves to preparing for shipment!

Yes, and as already stated in a previous post, you're good at that, men!
I'm sure my own status changed thanks your careful posts, dude ;)

So keep on moving all remaining processing to prep for shipment! :D

Every time someone's iMac moves to another stage of shipping, I can't help but think of the scene in The Empire Strikes Back when they announce that the transports leaving Hoth have made it out, and there are reaction shots of the rebels cheering.

lol:)

Our tracking info is identical!

Where are you located? If you're in the Northeast (or I guess any northern or western state), I'm guessing the reason they didn't ship today is because they didn't get to the 7:51AM EST flight (FDX28) on time. The ones that shipped via FDX90 (10:22AM EST) go straight to Tennessee. This would probably not make sense unless you live in a southern or middle state.

If it gets onto FDX28 tomorrow morning, it can get to Alaska by 4PM, and then catch a connecting flight to somewhere in the US closest to you. In my case, that would most likely be Newark, NJ (flight from Alaska at 8:00PM EST Friday landing in Newark at 2AM EST Saturday). But since it is weekday delivery only, Monday seems accurate, unfortunately.
