Yeah, I was surprised by how long the memory took to get here from OWC from when it shipped. Of course it didn't help that the mailroom sent it up a couple days after it arrived, but still.
My 27" beaut of a machine has arrived.

Quick impressions:
Unboxing was very impressive. From shipping container to packaging, top notch stuff. Get it setup, turn it on, its ready to go.
Everything is lightning fast. PS CS6 launched in less than a second. I s#$% you not. Lightroom 4.3, same thing. Can't wait to view my photo library with this much real estate.
I had to go back to work, but I'll get back to the new toy later tonight.
To everyone still waiting... hold tight, its worth the wait!!
Also, I got FedEx 2 day service for free early on. Apple initially said delivery was 17th. FedEx said delivery on the 14th, they delivered today, now that's a Christmas present!!

Took about 12-hours from Preparing to the actual shipping! Monday is the quoted delivery date! Can't wait! How am I going to get through the weekend!

this thread has gone quiet since everyone who ordered in the first days has shipped.
. only a handful of us from the 5 minute club left with nothing to show for except the damn words 'processing'. if its not prepared to ship by tonight im calling apple up again and trying to talk my way into more free stuff or a discount. under normal circumstances, its still within the ship date period, but knowing that everyone else got theirs shipped its no fun. anyone have any good arguing points lol?

It's really, really pointless to call Apple up. They have no clue AT ALL about what goes on in China. There's a huge disconnect, there. When I'd all but given up on mine ever going to Preparing for Shipment, I called Apple and they said it was on schedule for Dec 21-28. Then, within an hour it was Prepared for Shipment. So clearly they have no idea here.
I will say, as hard as it is, just be patient. It will finish processing. Good thing, too, since I found this lovely cliff nearby that I fancied taking a stroll off this morning...

Don't gripe at the rep - it's not their fault. Let them know your frustration, but be nice about it
I don't see a date when it left, so how many days did it take? And I'm talking how was it sent says on the bottom right of the FedEx page was it Int Priority?
I've been sorely tempted to call, but in some sense, I know I'm being a little ridiculous since it technically isn't late. My delivery window is Dec. 21-28. It's just really discouraging to see other people getting theirs when mine is still processing. I'm just not sure how much there is to be gained if I call, especially if, as others have said, there isn't anything the CSRs can do. If it is still processing on Monday, however, I will definitely call. But hopefully it won't be necessary.

BriMercer is right. Mine has been languishing in UPS facility in China for a day and a half now. Grrr. The estimated delivery date went from Monday 12/17 to Tuesday 12/18. Grrr, again!

I ordered mine at 5:45 am PST on 11/30 with the processor, fusion, 3gb hd, upgrades. I spent about 24 hours in processing purgatory.

Mine hasn't been scanned since Tues in Anchorage, however I just received a separate eMail from UPS that it will be delivered tomorrow Friday 12/14 rather than Monday as shown on the tracking page.
Others on that same shipment may see delivery tomorrow as well.
