Did you want the Magic Mouse, are you selling it?
Im Keeping it , since Im new to the Trackpad . actually Im new to iMac.
Did you want the Magic Mouse, are you selling it?
I'll be at my in-laws house all but one of the days in the expected delivery window, so I changed the ship to address to their house. Can't wait!
I don't think that the delivery times expedited or standard will make any difference at all. They will all ship out of China as they become ready, and then within a couple business days hit in the States for delivery. This seems always the case with new BTO releases.
just got notification my mouse shipped . I almost crapped myself cause at first glance I thought my iMac Shipped.
I called and got it changed to 12/21-12/28. No mouse, though. I should have just asked for one, but I would have felt awkward doing it.
Called just now...response: adding expedited shipment will just delay the order...change trackpad to mm....manager changed! wtf?
Thought he was going to come back with, "oh we can't change the order, so we'll just add the magic mouse for free", but NOPE, they actually changed my order, ahhahhah
They must have caught on haha stinks. Yesterday i was able to change to expedited shipping and got a free wireless keyboard
Why would they give you a free wireless keyboard? What is the point of having two keyboards?
I wanted to change my wired keyboard for a wireless, but they cant change the order without canceling so as a one time courtesy they added a wireless one for free.
Oh, that's cool. Now you can sell the other one if you'd like![]()
I would check Apple's web site out. Seems like you have been given duff adviceNot sure about the start date of Applecare though.
Items purchased at the Apple Online Store that are received between October 27, 2012 and December 25, 2012, may be returned through January 7, 2013
http://store.apple.com/us/help/returns_refund
You have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. For an Apple iPhone, you have 30 calendar days.
Could we get in trouble for it? say it breaks on said seller and he tries to get it replaced
This is not correct.
I just spoke with someone at Apple online chat and they said this:
"The warranty on the Macs would indeed start at the time of purchase, however what that really means is from the time that the payment is processed at which point the Mac actually ships out. So at most, you should be losing about 7 days of the warranty, rather than the entire time before the items would ship out."
I then asked this:
So if I add the AppleCare protection plan for iMac - Auto Enroll right now and purchase my 27" iMac today, it won't ship for 3-4 weeks. So when will the AppleCare actually activate?
The Apple rep's answer was:
"The order would actually show you that it is "processing" for that 3-4 week period, as it would not actually charge you until the order has shipped out. At that point you would be notified via email with further instructions on how to track the order through the carrier, and that's when the warranty would actually go into effect."
