Wow. That's awesome. Congrats! I guess it was just a matter of hours when it changed from "Preparing to ship" and "Shipped", correct?

Ordered mine the 30th at 5AM....still processing....Hopefully l'll get it before x-mas....:D

I called Apple today and got expedited shipping for free. Delivery says Dec 21 - 31. Hopefully it gets shipped out soon and I get it sometime next week.

I have the same shipping date and ordered mine at 5AM on the 30th...fingers crossed....

l ordered on the 30th and am still stuck in "processing" mode....not sure it will change today either....:(
 
My 27" has shipped via FedEX and should arrive on the 21st. But with my recent shipments with FedEx on the Mac mini and iPad and rmbp they always came a day earlier. So by the 20th is my real expectations.

Yay! Can't wait to play some counter strike GO on this bad boy. Mac mini and hd4000 can barely handle graphics at lowest settings.

i just know that UPS has a plant in Concord (jane & steeles) and items usually go there first, so I thought FedEx might have a similar one closer.

Did you get your imac? If so, was Mississauga the last location it went to before getting to you? Mine is scheduled for delivery on Monday morning.
 
Imac now shows shipped

Ordered a fully loaded 27 inch (except 3TB fusion, not solid state) at approximately 11.30 AM Toronto time on the 30th. Status changed yesterday morning to preparing for shipment at 9.15 AM. This morning(24 hours later) shows in transit- latest activity shows left fedex origin facility. So hopefully it will get on a plane tomorrow. No delivery date either showing but I'm assuming next week, well ahead of the Dec 24th-January 2nd date given to me by Apple after I asked for expedited shipping.

I was thinking it would likely go to Mississauga - then hopefully to my local UPS. I have Monday off and it would be really nice if it was delivered while I was home. But that is 2 days faster then the expected delivery date so I'm not holding my breath.
 
Its great to hear most of the people in Canada who ordered their iMacs on 30th-Nov have received their beautiful machines. Congratulations to all.

I wanted to ask if there are is anyone who placed their orders for 27" iMac in the month of Dec? I placed mine on 10-DEC, and all I have is shipping in "January", and "Processing" as the status.

I make my order on december 4 and have a shipping date of jan 3 to jan 9.
The hold on my CC desapear yesterday and still in processing in the order page.

Base 27" with 1TB fusion. No more extra.
 
My UPS story:

Online it's been showing delivery scheduled for Monday, Dec 17th. Being the impatient person I am, I called UPS on Wednesday and asked how the package was doing, they told me it was on its way to Kentucky from Alaska, it was guaranteed to be delivered by Friday, Dec 14th. I was impressed and even told the person that online it was showing the 17th, they assured me the 14th. Okay, cool.

I call again on Thursday (yesterday) and I get the same story, yup, guaranteed delivery on the 14th. Interesting I think to myself, online it still hasn't been updated since the 11th, showing its departure from Alaska.

This morning I wake up, check online, still last update showing departure from Alaska. It's been three days without any updates. I call again to double check delivery, and the person tells me my package is stuck at customs and won't be delivered until Monday, Dec 17th.

Now, this is fine by me, it's been showing the 17th online this whole time, but why did the other people keep saying guaranteed delivery on the 14th? Random to say the least.

I'm just happy to be getting it this early anyways! When Apple said Ships December, I thought for sure Dec. 31st.
 
Ordered Nov 30 at 12:08am PST.
Base $1799 mac, no configuration.

Just switched from Processing to Preparing for Shipment this morning. Delivery was estimated Dec 21 to 31 via Expedited.

Looking at the trend, I think you should get your iMac before the new years. Apple has been shipping earlier than what they promise for almost everyone. Do let us know when the status changes. Thank you.
 
Mine was stuck on Anchorage since Tuesday, like many of yours. Just updated to this:

Mine just updated too. Strangely enough the delivery date disappeared... oh damn...

Just spoke to a largely useless lady at UPS.. she said that it cleared the US Customs Agency, but is now waiting to be cleared by the Canadian Agency. She said something about waiting for another shipment to arrive so they can be cleared together.. not sure if I misunderstood this as I couldn't really tell what she was saying.

UPS, never again.
 
My package has been stuck in Kentucky for 3 days (and counting), so I called UPS, and they let me know that it has to undergo a series of import scans or something before it arrives in Canada on Monday. From there, it should deliver by the end of the day Monday.

Basically, it takes 5 days to clear customs, and less than one to deliver.
I guess that's just how much UPS loves logistics.
 
This is really something. I didn't realize UPS was so useless.

Looks like we might not even see them on Monday now?
 
Mine is in Anchorage right now with Fed Ex does anyone know where it goes to now if it is going to Vancouver? My thought would be into Calgary and then Vancouver for monday delivery.
