27" iMac delivery thread (Canada)

Adding my datapoint:

Ordered on the 30th at about 1pm EST. Fully pimped-out 27" except for RAM which I will add after. Paid for expedited shipping.

Initially showed deliverly Jan 2-9.

Yesterday order changed to Preparing for Shipment.

Today shows as shipped via FedEx, with delivery due Wednesday morning (in Toronto).
 
Trying to access my orders on the apple website and it wont open, saying that the site is extremely busy. Tried calling apple last night and the voice recording said they are experiencing huge number of calls as such they cannot take my call. I guess a lot of people are calling in to learn about their orders.
 
Well I got my iMac delivered at 10am in downtown Toronto this morning... Just over 60 hours from first scan in Shanghai until delivery, which is pretty impressive.

Congratulations! Did you get a chance to play around with it yet? How's the speed? Cant wait for my iMac.

EDIT: Just to clarify, my UPS tracking still shows my package as having left Concord, ON last. No "Out for Delivery" update. And still doesn't show delivered.

Same here, although mine left Memphis at the same time as a flight to Toronto. No updates from Toronto though. If it was on a truck it should have crossed the border by now and would have been scanned.
 
I originally had jan 3-8 but called in to get expedited shipping.
So my date had changed to Dec 31- Jan 4.

But today I Received an email, saying it has departed from Shangai and will be delivered on wednesday.

Awesome! I really think that they are running the factories at full speed to get these out in time for the holidays!
 
My computer arrived at my house this morning (Central Toronto) just before 11 (fedex). I was impressed considering it left China on Friday. It was perfect timing as I had to go out shortly afterwards. Fedex never did change the expected delivery date which was for the 19th. No I haven't even opened the box yet- just got home again and have to leave shortly for an appointment at the Genius bar as old computer is acting up and also has to have a hard drive replaced before it goes to its new owner. I'm also out tonight but will have tomorrow to check it out.

Mine has taken the same path, expected delivery was today by 12. It is now showing MISSISSAUGA, ON- "Clearence Delay- import". Who knows when I will get it now....:mad:
 
No update on the Fed Ex tracking site since Saturday at 5:10 pm but when I call it says that the package is "on it's way" I don't know what the heck that means but I'm suppose to have it by 6 tonight ...... Here's to hope'n.:D
 
Has anyone with UPS whose iMac arrived in Louisville at 7:15 on the 14th with expected delivery of the 19th had an update since arrival in Lousiville?

You guys should really call UPS and complain/ask about it.. mine had the same route but was delivered to Downtown Toronto this morning:

Yours looks like a few of ours did (with earlier dates). Apparently KY is where UPS does all the customs work (Not AK even though thats where it first hits the US).

Our packages sat in KY for two days. Not sure if yours will too (or is), but that could explain things.

It's quite annoying to be honest.

Mine is also sitting in Memphis, TN, waiting to go to Alberta.... Hasn't moved since Saturday.
