27" iMac Orders in the Dec 31 - Jan 7 Range

My Nov. 30 order just switched to preparing for shipment too!

3.4Ghz i7
8GB RAM (I've got 32GB waiting at home)
3TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIA 680MX
 
Preparing To ship at 4:30 pm PST,,,,,to shipped at 11:00 pm same day wow! Will be here on the 28!! I ordered it on the the Nov,30 then canceled twice reordered on Dec 3!!! :)

Why does it say the November 30th order has shipped then? doesn't look like you cancelled anything.
 
Do people receive an email as soon as it starts preparing for shipment or do people check online regularly?

It has now changed to Shipped. Less than 12 hours from Preparing For Shipment to Shipped. :)
 
Got it two days early,,,,today at 2:00pst. Ordered a Magic Mouse they sent a tract pad,called Apple they said sorry keep it & we will send you a Magic Mouse for free expedited shipping!! Now that's great customer service!! O ya,,,Love my new IMAC!!!:D

so jealous that seeing some of you guys has changed to preparing for shipping or some even have already received your new ,
when will mine come...:(:(:(

I ordered on Dec 1, 27" i7 with 3TB Fusion. On Christmas Eve it went to Preparing for Shipment, tonight it went back to Processing. :(

oh, i feel so sorry for hearing this, this is even worse than those who still haven't changed from processing, hope you can get through this:(

This might make you feel better,,,,,,just noticed they sent the I5 not I7,,,,,Called Apple,,,,100.00 off my bill,,,send back after I get the I7!!!Im good with this!!!Changed my order two many times, thru them for a loop!!LOL:eek:

Checked 27 Dec 2012 (~3:30am UTC) and at last, promoted to "Preparing for Shipment".

guess part of the reason for the mix up could be the ordered and cancelled iMac orders.
you previously ordered the i5 and then cancelled it.
After which, you ordered the i7.

hope you will get your replaced unit soon.
