They've confirmed lots before that ended up being wrong. I think they're just making educated guesses like everybody else.

Apple Employees are usually kept in the dark about a lot of things. I really doubt this.

So I used my Mobile Me 24 hour chat thing and the person I talked with said either in 2 hrs(so 3 Eastern time) or 11 hours(so 12PM Eastern time)..he said there has been some confusion
