I don't care. I think it's dumb Apple can't share this with you guys.

It's just too bad that what you think doesn't matter whatsoever. If you get sued or have your developer account revoked with no refund, it is entirely your fault.

Way to go OP -- information wants to be free!

Do you do anything on this forum besides regulating on people?

I'd also rather that Apple NOT come after MacRumors for hosting NDA materials, too, thanks.

So i noticed that the text icon on the home screen has been changed, it used to say SMS inside the icon, now it is just blank.... This being a BETA it is more than likely able will fix that issue. What do you think they would put inside there though??? Maybe simply TEXT.. Any ideas?

Great Pics.. Thanks for posting!

I doubt Apple changes the icon. There isn't a need for words inside of the icon, since right below it, it says "Messages."

I know what the risks are thanks. and MacRumors is not hosting anything I am linking to other sites.

If you don't have anything useful to say please leave. Thanks.

It starts looking right away like in leopard. It is a little slow though I would assume it will speed up as the firmware develops more.

ahhh that's such great news. Thank you!

in spotlight, for instance, if you start typing "wifi" will an option to bring you to the wifi menu pop up? It would be nice to jump right to those settings instead of fishing around in settings.app

also, does the spotlight screen reset itself every time you revisit it? Or does it keep your previous searches there until you try to find something new?

No it doesn't but that would be way awesome. Yes it resets itself every time you leave and come back.

1. Don't think so. I looked around in the sound settings and didn't see anything.
2. Not sure what you mean. Please explain more.
3. Yes. You can add a contact while in a call. I will provide a picture at the bottom of the post.
4. Yes. You can back out of the Messages app and the SMS will still send.
5. I have not played around with this yet. I will try it out and post back ASAP.
6. As far as I know you can not delete single calls.
7. Nope.
8. MMS is not working yet.
Thank you again. For #2 I was wondering about the screen that appears when you touch the blue arrow next to a call in the missed call screen.

You're okay with potentially being sued? Feel that you can go up against Apple?

They're on here. We can see them by going to this site. That has never stopped Apple in the past.

Im pretty sure that if Apple has an issue with this, they would have already at least went after websites let alone individuals, its actually not a big deal considering any tom dick n harry with 99 beans can pick it up, im sure they are actually quite pleased with the money they are raking in by everyone signing up as a dev just to get the beta

And when these Toms, Dicks, and Harrys don't pay to renew their license next year, their devices will be bricked and any software they might have made will be deleted.

i have a question regarding the 3.0. ^^ have they made any changes to the lockscreen regarding like adding how many e-mails you may have unread? currently if you miss a call, text, it shows on the lockscreen but nothing for mail. would love to see them add something for mail. thanks :)

where is your evidence that apple will officially brick your device because you dont want to be a dev anymore?

No changes to the lock screen.

I would like that as well, also a reminder noise for email would be helpful as well

I didn't post any screens on my blog because I assumed it was "against the rules", but then all the big sites, including MacRumors posted stuff so I guess no one gives a...

Guess I should join the party?

One small thing I like is that when locked double home button iPod now shows the artist, song, and album. It's a small thing, but something that annoyed me as the lock iPod screen is what I used 90% of the time in the car.

Weird. Mine remembers. I wonder which one is the desired result and which one is a bug haha

honestly, neither of them are really optimal....what id really like on the spotlight screen, instead of a blank screen, or instead of a screen showing your last search, is a "most searched" list. So when the spotlight text bar is empty, the screen shows, let's say, a list of your top 5 most selected items from spotlight search...this way all of your favorite apps, phone numbers, notes, etc are all linked right there on one screen. What does everyone think?
